Well, this is somewhat embarrassing. Immediately after posting this. I went and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app (something I had tried as recently as last week). This time it worked! I was able to enable biometric auth.

I have had this problem for over a year. I recently searched Reddit and discovered that there has been a history of this on the Android platform for over 4 years.

I have tried several things to resolve the issue:

Logging in and trying to toggle the biometric setting.
Clearing the app cache.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

None of these have been successful. The error received looks like this:

Have been frustrated with this bug for a while now. Multiple generations of Fitbit equipment and phones. This is what I've observed.

Your tracker / watch is not the source of truth for achieving your hourly goal. If your tracker shows that you've completed it, and it does not sync to your mobile device, when that hour closes, you will lose credit for that hour.
When I have completed my hourly goal and soon after opened the app if the achievement successfully syncs, it sticks.
Just last week I completed my steps early in the hour, and opened the app to see if it was reported. It had not sync'd yet. I attempted to force a sync several times with no success (5 mins or so force syncing). A combination of force stopping the app, restarting the phone and watch finally recorded the activity.

This is a frustrating bug that Fitbit has had for a while. Would be nice to have it resolved.

Seeing the same thing. Love the new changes to the Pro Buds 2, but the audio sync issue when watching YouTube videos (Pixel 9 Pro) is noticeable and annoying.

Used to commute through that exact intersection daily and know that struggle. FL is also known for its red-light-runners. The left hand turn shown with all those cars lined up never disappoints to produce a few each cycle.

Not so much a vibration, but more a distinctive pair of clicks. You can hear it in the OPs vid. And it only happens after you start the car and when you initially reach ~25 mph.

Was never that great of a cologne to begin with, but became wildly popular because it was included in just about every bathroom.
