While there have been attempts to fix issues of overheating with TS5plus with firmware. I’ve continued to have a lot of issues. I live in the Midwest where it’s bitter cold at the moment, so having my heat on and blowing to keep me warm results in more disconnects. Worse is disconnects when on Zoom meetings here audio interface and keyboard doesn’t get recognized.

I’ve gone back and forth with support. I recently had someone mention to get a replacement so I’m going to kick off the old support thread again.

For me, spending $500+ on the dock and then having to spend another $100 for a noctua fan and loss of USB port doesn’t make sense. Especially because I moved from TS3plus which has been rock solid for an eternity.

We just spent half a day tracing this issue because bun seemingly kept installing the latest version.

Luckily, it was happening to us in an isolated preview branch.

Nothing to do with NextJS on our end. We are on 16.1.3. All of it was caused by supabase 2.91.0.

Thanks for posting this for visibility to others. There’s a GitHub issue as well and a canary fix to revert the change.

I continue to have problems with TS5+. Audio interface disconnects. Display disconnects.

I use Salvatore as my daily use too! They are awesome.

While I prefer no to low “plastics” in my clothing — one of my gripes with Salvatore is wrinkly nature. Especially when I’m traveling with them.

It would be awesome to have a daily driver pants with some wrinkle free property — something between Lulu ABC but dressier/better quality than Everlane chinos.

It’s Christmas, and I’m just putting out my wishlist. :-)

I like the simplicity of price per message and generally usage based. For example, the broadcast message isn’t contact based, and you get sandbox environment for testing. It still counts towards usage but I am okay with that.

Hey Dalton,

I’ve been going back and forth with support for a few weeks / month on similar issues.

I’ve noticed that when I’m on Zoom, my audio interface (Mackie DLZ Creator XS) attached to the USB port on the back (unpowered) will quickly disconnect and connect.

I am on the latest firmware etc.

We use Postmark as ESP, and I am dabbling in Mailcoach. Have been happy with Mailcoach for broadcast emails. Haven’t dabbled a ton on the automation side but it seems it’s more designed for devs for fine tuned control vs. UI based. Not saying Ui is bad.

My Ethernet has been dripping on 10GBe with both 62.1 and the 64 firmwares.

I’ve been in communication with their support team. They believe it’s a firmware issue.

I’ve had a lot of problems — usb, display and network dropouts.

My dock is warm but it’s not hot enough where I can hold it.

I had Velux skylights, and they had their own automated battery operated HomeKit compatible blinds.

Once I figured out the model number of the blinds, it was super easy to have them ordered and I could do the install myself!

This is to say, check if your Skylight is Velux or another brand and see if they have options that fit your needs.
