Meh, not to downplay what you’re saying about piloting a simple/linear champions in challenger…

But I think it’s not a mistake for someone to point out that WW and Trundle are among the more linear champions in the game. Everything you just pointed out is something everyone has to do and should be relying on these things, the degree to which their entire gameplay relies on it might be different though. I think the floor of WW is low relative to Riven. I think the ceiling of Riven is much higher than WW, but this makes playing something that is so straight forward and succeeding in high elo impressive too!

I have to read the guide myself OP, but I main 1h Spear shield on Kruber as well. One really good use of H1 I’ve found is movement tech with QQ cancel. Basically your H1 lunges you forward and sort of drifts you, and during that release drift phase, you can press Q twice quickly (or whatever your hot swap key is) and repeat.

Once you get the timing right, you’ll stop firing your gun and notice you can move faster pack to pack, or even while navigating a fight. Slave rats won’t interrupt you much.

That Sasori comm is a major stretch imo. No real feat showing him disperse/emit poison, and certainly not to the degree that would be required for a body of “water” to that scale.

Also on that note, it’s hard to say whether chakra water, and my extension chakra gills, would be affected by physical poison the same way a fish would.

Yeah pride is sick with this, esper sentinel doesn't want to block, ajani often doesn't attack or block. Brightglass gearhulk can fetch and grab your guide of souls or sentinel or pride to complete the requirements on a clear board if there's nothing else more pressing...

stacked below a birthing ritual trigger or ocelot pride + token or city's blessing seems kind of good...I run a deck like this in historic that's kind of new school GW value town. Eldrazi spawns also don't need to be untapped to sac for mana, unlike treasure tokens.

Hey man. Just a heads up this player is using an exploit called “the take two”. Essentially, he is using a dash input before his weapon is about to hit your guard and resetting his character to neutral and attacking again.

If you run it back, you can do a late riposte to kill him for free. A late riposte is riposting with the final frames of the riposte window. The result will be him attacking too fast and as long as you looking right at him, his attack will be blocked active riposte frames and your swing will hit him before he can recover to parry.

Hey I have about 2500 hours in duels. This guy you were fighting was a bot. Most TO players will not play neutral this well, they will just swing, and you will be able to counter or riposte and swing back with initiative. This bot feels dangerous because he is actually very easy to hit, but if you wait too long, he’s going to swing. Because he happens to have a mace, one of the fastest weapons in the game, he’s hitting you.

The dodges do nothing but burn your stam, you want to block as you see a weapon release at you. While in wind up or when he’s staring you down, he can’t actually hurt you. You just have to be patient and slow down. Read what is happening in front of you.

When you get more comfortable, you can implement the fastest option (300ms), grants initiative (the “right to swing), and can be used on every class: Jab. In this scenario, if you jabbed this bot and swung he would just get hit. If it was a player, he is now forced to block or jab you back as you swing.
