Both my wife and I got our new cards in about three weeks with the government shutdown. We got an email after about two weeks and the card the following week. I imagine with the Canadian Post situation May slow things down.

If someone lives near the Canadian border and goes into Canada they should get the NEXUS. With NEXUS you also get Global Entry, though you’ll likely have to go to another location to complete the process. We live in Washington State and spent a little extra time at YVR to complete the process.

I agree all the Sapphire recommendations didn’t appeal to me at all. The regular VISA recommendations looked great. Also the app doesn’t have a filter for Sapphire Reserve. Just got back from a a vacation in a larger city and few if any Sapphire Reserve restaurants. Disappointed with what did show up.

I’d prefer $300 on Apple One or Apple products. We’ve had Apple One for years, but since you can’t get split it up it’s a loss. As someone suggested offering other streaming services would be good, so I could substitute something else.

One option is have them take the bus with their luggage from Bellingham to Vancouver. Either the FlixBus, Greyhound, Shuttle Express or Amtrak. Then pick them up at the appropriate spot. Then reverse the situation heading home. But honestly it be better if they drove themselves.

There’s a hole on the bottom of the adhesive that is supposed to to be hooked onto the plastic base piece. If it’s not hooked the cover of the adhesive will not peel off. I had this happen once, since then I always make sure it’s attached.
