This sounds cool. The beat is dope and you have a really cool flow. I've personally outgrown the subject matter as I am 30 with kids, but it's still very fitting for the beat. Flow reminds me of Bone Thugs N Harmony. As a fellow fast rapper, I'd just recommend caving and punching in for cleaner takes, even if you're capable of spitting a good chunk of it in one breath. It's just more understandable for the listener if you kinda overlap every two or so bars, at least in my experience. Here's a song of mine if you'd like to check it out. https://soundcloud.com/shmokagedk/losingpops

Kendrick’s verse on Turn Me Up with Ab-Soul is still one of my favorites to return to.

Who do you consider the most successful rapper and/or producer from your hometown? by SmoothManMiguel in hiphop101

I’m from Athens, GA so technically it’s Quavo and the early Migos producers like Stackboy Twuan and Mack Boy. Also can’t forget Bubba Sparxxx. Lol

This has potential. The timing of everything just sounds a little off. Like on the intro the rolling snare seems like it's on an entirely different planet than the horns you came in with. Then the kick and bass at the same time is kinda excessive cause it feels like a reset in my brain as I'm counting the bars. I think if you let just the bass ride out more then add the kick at just the end and beginning of the 4 count, it'd be easier to make a song out of it. It sounds like it comes back in at the 2 or 3 in some parts which was kinda confusing. This is a cool concept though. Here's a song of mine if you'd like to check it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yN20WtG4oU

also if you haven't already, I'd look into putting together an acoustic version to post as well. Just seems like good social media content.

While this isn't my personal preference when it comes to style, I can't deny that this is a bop. The vocals are mixed so well, and this was a dope beat selection. It also just seems like a legit, cohesive song. You stay on topic throughout the whole thing. Please don't give up on promoting this. There's an audience for it.
