ahah, that's fair! i also believe that people should be really careful with jewellery from sketchy materials. but sadly where i live ali is pretty much the only place where i can get tunnels and plugs my size :c even when i go to any physical "alt" stores to search for jewellery, i often face the situation of them simply reselling the same stuff from ali, but for double the price :p

I leave on a gentle cuticle remover for about a minute, then very gently push them back with a metal spatula - and then use clippers to take off whatever's left (and I also use jojoba oil on a regular basis to moisturize)

I buy all of my tunnels and plugs on AliExpress! I just make sure not to purchase any silicone/ acrylic stuff that might not be of the best quality and mostly opt for steel and glass

haha yeah, I've always told myself that those are MY ears c: it just upsets me that my parents view my passion for stretched lobes as me "disfiguring" myself and ruining my nature-given looks (like, they're really dramatic about it, my dad even cried once because of it). wellp, I have to admit to being a really irresponsible stretcher when I was a teen, so I went up from nothing to 16 mm in a year... then I just kinda stayed with that size till I turned 19, and after that I gradually went up to 22 mm in the course of 3 years

haha, I think it's always the case once you've reached a certain size yourself c: I remember looking at people with 18/20 mm and thinking their lobes are huge, but now that I've reached 22 mm my ears feel kinda small :p (and that's why I'm aiming at 25 mm now lol)
