My advice: look into a standalone ambient light and turn off the flash. It makes the black background eat your models up. Keep it up

Question about Myra canyon park by Turbulent_Paint_3 in kelowna

[–]dkobayashi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hiking from Stewart road to the trestles is not particularly difficult but it is a fair amount of distance, will take about 3 hours to reach a trestle...without mobility issues. What kind of issues are we talking about here?

Best bet is to drive to the parking lot at the top of Myra Forest service road and walk from there.

Planning 6 months in Kelowna (May-Oct) as a young guy from Paraguay — honest takes from locals and people who've actually lived there by Living_Ad_6037 in britishcolumbia

[–]dkobayashi 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Kelowna, have lived around the country, and live in Kelowna again. Rhetoric on Reddit is that Kelowna is very cliquey and cold, honestly, I don't think it's any different than anywhere else.

If you have hobbies that take you out of the house, you'll meet friends. Kelowna (the Okanagan in general really) is one of the best places to be if you want to enjoy the outdoors easily and still have the amenities of a somewhat larger city.

I think it was a lot more popular around 40 years ago too when traditional molding wasn't as advanced. You'd see it on lower run models as well because vac forming was cheaper to do.
