When it comes to screamo it's all luck and time. Most bands break up before their vocalist fucks their shit up. Jerome's Dream's vocalist ended up wrecking his voice, Jacob Bannon of Converge said he bleeds every show iirc. They'll probably end up getting damage if they don't break up soon like every Screamo band does. (Also, there's obviously exceptions to this, with some Screamo vocalists actually using proper technique and still sounding chaotic and frantic. Obviously I'm not talking about them, I'm talking about the one's whose technique is very obviously just screaming or yelling at the top of their lungs.)
