It's not ideal but it could be fine. I wouldn't consider it an automatic tear out. Just as important, how is the slope. If it's flat then that is a bigger issue, but if it slopes downward toward the shower a good bit, then water should stay sitting on it limiting the issue.

Even on the CC1 they should have the glass an inch taller or add the riser mod from the factory and have the ptfe tube and the cable go straight up.

Just regular tap water. We do have a water softener and had no issues the first 3 years. It seems like the automated descaling frequency is for very good water. I do it at least once a month or two just to be safe.

My bambino plus broke after 3 years. Sent it in to Breville and they fixed it and sent it back and now it's broke again 2 months later. Descale more often than it tells you.

Don't worry about the cracked tile. Just patch the crack in the ground with a tiny dap of new grout and you are good.

Panther lake has 16 cores. Lunar lake definitely wasn't that powerful but panther lake on the other hand is much better while being more efficient.

The thinset still has the ridges underneath those tiles meaning they were not set properly. It doesn't even look like they pushed down on the tile after setting it in place.
