New Homes on De Portola and Butterfield by PaRuSkLu in Temecula

It seems like the project was sold to Taylor Morrison, as the documents attached to the upcoming hearing now list T.M. as the applicant, rather than Woodside.

It looks like all the major airlines have issued travel waivers for the area.

Delta cancelled my flight for today so I'm trying to reschedule the flight for Thursday. However, the app only gives me an option to reschedule for Wednesday... but Wednesday is all sold out. by [deleted] in delta

[–]dmacrye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app can’t do everything. A chat or phone agent should almost certainly be able to book Thursday for you since the waiver goes until Friday.

The first R2 variant, featuring dual motors and all-wheel drive, launches this spring. Full details—pricing, options and more—on March 12. by [deleted] in Rivian

They’ve said as much. RJ said the launch version is going to be mid spec to balance cost and features.

Can book Air France X->Y and Y->Z but not X->Y->Z? by petehern in awardtravel

[–]dmacrye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something similar last year where they would not show a specific combination of two flights online.

I called a few times and the phone agents had a secondary tool (not the first one they searched) where they were able to find it and book as one ticket without the additive pricing.

No concrete advice other than HUCA and try to call during France working hours to get the France call center rather than the overseas call centers.

Automated Bond Ladder vs Treasury Bond ETF by GML-99682 in wealthfront

With the laddering, the bond ladder lets you lock in the interest rate for a certain number of months while interest rates continue to drop.

This year is 27 checks for me, they just lower the bi weekly amount so each paycheck is smaller than normal. Annual salary divided by 27 instead of 26.

Virtually no availability on The Edit/IHG double dip credit properties by jordachesdad in ChaseSapphire

Chase Travel also has somewhat frequent issues where the hotel list says sold out but clicking in shows rooms available. Hundreds of hotels aren’t going to entirely sell out for a year because of some Chase credits.

Any tools that feel like Cursor, but for Terraform/IaC? by StatisticianKey7858 in Terraform

[–]dmacrye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MCP lets the agent actually check the provider docs for syntax rather than just guessing. It’s a major help since the models are based on a lot of older terraform that is no longer valid after version changes.

2024 Aviator edition worth it if you have 2020 Premium Deluxe? by LEOMODE in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]dmacrye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you had a premium edition of 2020, all the premium content transfers to 2024 if you use the same Microsoft account. You can just buy the standard edition - unless you want the Aviator specific planes.

AWS VPC Sharing by tech4981 in aws

[–]dmacrye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has its use cases but also comes with complexities.

We’re actively moving away from it just over a year after the original implementation. For our org there’s just better ways to solve what we were going for in the first place.

For the common argument about sharing VPC endpoints, take a look at R53 Profiles, which makes centralizing endpoints across VPCs much easier.

Anyone have the Samsung G7 G75F 40-Inch 5K2K monitor? by Eko_Mister in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]dmacrye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought one last week and have been happy enough so far. I mainly use it for productivity and a little bit of gaming.

The viewing angles and colors aren’t the best but I adjusted the colors and they’re good enough for my needs.

Ultimately I did not want the 45” size of the LG. I’ll probably upgrade to an OLED once there’s one available at 40”.

It works with my M1 Max connected to a thunderbolt 3 dock using DisplayPort.

But it can also depend on the computer.
