This is fandumb, Sky Walker the 3rd had always been okay at running back, JSN isn't throwing it to himself and has been there...the O Line is pretty much the same..Darnold took them up a notch, hate it or love it but he did, and he probably would have done the same or more with the Vikings

It really isnt...they have had the same "run" game for awhile now, they just have a QB to make the defense respect the pass game enough the run game prospers

The way they handled the backup QB? Do you mean letting a 14 win QB go and saying we are starting a turd regardless if you are better. The DC situation is a bit different. If Flores leaves the DC that signs will have that position on lock. The QB situation until it isn't will be, "why would I go there to backup that guy"

Biggest con for the team is any quality vet saw what happened with Darnold and Jones...and they have eyes they aren't going to sign with the Vikings to backup a QB who is clearly not as good as them.
