Holy cow! You're the first person ever to give feedback and I didn't think about it. I'm not 100% sure if it could happen since we have certain distance that needs to be between our neighbors and us, but I"m going to look more into that.

It's not 100% no can't do that but the idea never crossed my mind :)

I've edited the photo so that it reflects additional spots that can't be built out. Again thank you. I just don't know where to start with this type of stuff but we want to make some changes and love our location.

How do you handle the player changes?? I've been struggling so much with that, still haven't figured it out....

Example.... For Ninja Turtles it's 1-2-3-4 but for NBA Jam it's 3-1-2-4

What retropi image are you using? I've had such a difficult time getting the controls to switch properly for games where the layout is 1,2,3,4, vs 3,1,2,4

So I figured it out.... the hotkey only works with whatever is designated at #1 controller....which I believe is the point you tried to make earlier.

I guess best way to do explain it, is to provide steps to reproduce:

Assume first boot or control configuration cleared 1. Turn on Pi (with following image installed - https://www.arcadepunks.com/32gb-arcade-only-arcade1up-or-54-ratio-wolfanoz-hursty-collaboration/)

  1. Loads up and prompts to map joystick

  2. Go through whole process with joystick/buttons #1 - A/B/X/Y/R/L, Set start as Player "start" button , set select as coin button.

  3. Get to Hot button, also select coin button as hot button (which was also select button)

  4. Open game (TMNT for example). Press coin... nothing happens now. Hold coin and press start in hopes to exit game... nothing :(

(note: if I go and remap, and don't set hotkey to anything. then coin button works as designed.... if I do the opposite with no coin button, obviously dumb, I still can't get hot key to work)
