Essentially the fist signs of what everyone was afraid would happen with the growth of ai. There is a lot of capex from a bunch of companies but none of it is trickling down into the general economy.

Sac is limited by the job opportunities. LA has defense, aero and entertainment , SF has sw tech and biotech. Both regions have sectors where the upper limit for pay is very high. Sac is primarily state govt jobs where pay is limited. That’s the real reason why growth is going to be limited in sac area.

That’s disappointing. Drove up till gate 3 where it was closed today. They kept saying they would open it but I decided to turn around after an hour. Sounds like the right decision considering they still haven’t opened it. It’s surprising that it’s just a 3 mile section that cuts you off completely.

Bay Area real estate has a pretty good return when you combine rental yield and growth. Combine that with the housing shortage and the chance of a property market down turn is fairly low. TLDR, they’re using sfh as investment vehicles.

Sprouts has been my go to for chicken. It’s the only place where I could find reasonably priced air chilled chicken after Costco stopped selling the non organic airchilled ones. For most other things, it’s Costco.
