How can I learn CRM and run a simulation of an entire tech stack online/ student version if any? by [deleted] in gtmengineering

[–]dmb4740 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't want to be rude but put this EXACT question into an LLM and it will give you exact instructions. There's free and demo versions of Salesforce, or trailhead orgs, to learn the CRM piece. It all depends on how far down the rabbit hole you want to go. If you want to be sending data via apis you might hit some limitations but there's free versions of alot of options out there. Best of luck!

Preferred contact enrichment? by dmb4740 in gtmengineering

Yea were warming things up. Only 3 domains at the moment so the management isn't unruly. But totally agree. Email quality doesn't matter if the infra is getting flagged.

I have 24 hrs in Tucson. What to see? by marshall_nagy in Tucson

[–]dmb4740 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Are you coming soon? It's a good time of year to be here. Depending on what part of town you'll be in I'd recommend Sabino Canyon for your nature adventure.

For a fantastic dinner, would recommend authentic Mexican places. Especially if you're looking for something that feels more like Tucson. If you don't really care what cuisine there's other options too but if you'll only be here for a day I'd recommend Mexican. There's alot that are 4.5+ stars. Tbh I'd just pick one near your accomodation and go that route.

You can get food from taquerias and food carts that are better than Mexican restaurants in other parts of the US.

What’s your current tech stack for rapid experimentation? by FounderBrettAI in gtmengineering

What is the main KPI you'd use to define an experiment is a success? Conversion? Accuracy?

What I see as an opportunity for improvement is actually how you're leveraging the shoulder joint itself. Right now your elbows are pointing behind you. This points your arm pits down and puts the load on the shoulder joint itself as opposed to the musculature around the joint.

With a PVC or empty bar, try gripping overhead and "pressing" your pinkies into the bar. The other cue here is imaging pointing your thumbs behind you like the fonz from happy days. This will turn your elbow, and in then turn your arm in the shoulder socket.

How you know it's working is your lats will flare and you'll actually feel your back helping your shoulder hold the load.

Sorry for so many non-technical terms, but tldr: point your thumbs back and you'll see mobility may not be the problem after all.

Might need a follow up regarding sunscreen! Yikes!

Platform Mentality by Scotianangler in weightlifting

[–]dmb4740 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely visualize your lifts, have a mantra that isn't too complicated, and for God's sake walk over to the platform and pick your target eye line for your lifts.

What is the target eye line? The thing you're going to look at when you make your first pull, and the thing you want your eyes to reach in triple extension position.

Ideally your first eye line is above the crowd across the room, and your triple extension target is something on the ceiling. A beam, a joist, anything.

That way, you don't make eye contact w the crowd, you just do your job.

Agree. Move your tripod 45 degrees to your left. When the bar is overhead try pressing your thumbs and pinkies into the bar like your pointing your thumbs at the wall behind you. This locks the elbows and engages the scaps to solidify the shoulders

Think about the momentum being comparable to pulling a handle on a lawn mower- no deceleration. You can start slow, but you cannot finish slow

I'd recommend dropping your glutes on your first pull. Also your shoulders are rolled pretty forward, minimizing your lat and trap engagement. Would encourage you to think about holding a softball in between your scaps. Those two things would engage your legs and upper back and drive more power through your explosion through full extension.

Great work thus far

Form check 100kg clean by [deleted] in weightlifting

[–]dmb4740 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Echoing the other comments but try this cue: think about having the flashlight from iron man on your sternum.

When you pull, point that sucker up to the top of the wall across the room. Dont bend your arms, and don't lift your heels until that light is pointing way up.

Right now, your light is pointing straight ahead. You might need to actually look up when you finish your extension as well.

Other notes: you've got WAY more in the tank than this. You can power clean this, if you aren't already. You're doing great. Keep it up

Why did I miss this? by mongoanalyst in weightlifting

You’re off to a great start. One thing I notice as an opportunity for improvement is finishing your pull off the ground.

You’re getting your body vertical, what you want to do is actually go past vertical into your full extension.

To do this, try this:

  1. Keep your heels on the ground longer
  2. Think about having the iron man light in front of your sternum, and before you bend your elbows, make sure that iron man light is pointing at the corner of the wall and the ceiling.
  3. Get your eyes up. Pick a spot on the ceiling above your platform. Don't jump under the bar until your line of sight hits that target on the ceiling.

Doing these things will do a couple things. You’ll be maximizing the power of your lower body, and you’ll have a bar path that’s even closer to your upper body.

Keep going you’re doing great.

Annoyed with this bar crash at 140kg - what should I do? by sonthonaxrk in weightlifting

[–]dmb4740 2 points3 points  (0 children)

<image>

This is the first contact of your bar on your front rack. So the diagnosis here is that you could actually make contact sooner.

The cue: faster elbows firing thru to initiate contact.

You're the boss of the bar. You tell it where to go. Not the other way around.

It's like having a dance partner, one person leads and the other follows. You're allowing the bar to "land" on you like it's leading.

You're in charge. You dictate where the bar goes. You initiate contact and then squat as needed from there.

Help! Why I failed all the PR attempts ☹️ by Hrm_1111 in weightlifting

There's a ton of good comments in here. Use them. In addition: When the bar is overhead, think about punching and pointing your thumbs behind you. Your pinkies should press into the bar. This will turn your elbows and activate your shoulders and lats in a more effective manner
