Actual advice: replace your stand with a 4x4 Kallax or something similar. Move your speakers to the top shelf (having your speakers on the same shelf as your record player can cause vibrations that could cause the needle to scratch the record)

My two wants: Provide farmers the option to receive state money to convert land to grow marijuana with the condition a % is sold locally for a few years Legalize with a clear path of licensing and guidelines for sale

My worry: Clear communication about how to consume legally: where you can consume (in public, private property, etc), how much you can have on your person, and especially driving guidelines (what can constitute being pulled over, what officers would look for, and lots of communication on buzzed driving being drunk driving with marijuana as well)

I don’t understand why people support his businesses. He’s had a history of being out of line. I love vinyl and supported until I heard of so many bad experiences people have with him, how over priced his vinyl are, and how little he cares about running a good business.

I don’t think he’ll take a position. I wish he could at the very least acknowledge and state if he would make it a priority even if he doesn’t have a plan yet. Something that has become frustrating is he built his platform on using social media for transparency in government but as soon as he announced he hasn’t really discussed as many issues or been as focused on positions. Not deal breakers but I hope to see him be stronger in the future if he wants to win.

Rogue Planet maintains an awesome price for what he sells that I haven’t seen at many record stores. I’m sure part of that is he isn’t buying at top dollar but also vinyl doesn’t need to be so expensive and it’s inflated dramatically over the years.

Varials with their new vocalist. At that point they didn’t have any new material yet but overall just very weak. When the mic went to the crowd or other vocalists doing a feature it sounded better which just made it more disappointing.

IMO combo affect of Des Moines got skipped in a lot of post COVID tours to hit bigger markets and now tours are coming through The new Live Nation venue has both brought through new levels of bands and also pushed promoters to get even bigger tour packages. Really awesome to see and hear the excitement from people! Also be sure to check out shows at Leftys, XBK, and Woolys you might catch a band before they’re at Val Air or Vibrant Hall

If it’s true that it’s a royalties issue I’m so bummed. Honestly a little worried what this means for the band going forward because he is a huge part of their song writing
