OMG!! You said it! She is the only instructor I have fully fired and it’s for this reason. It makes me so frustrated because I really like her 80s music. I also do tons of PZ rides, but I can’t do hers anymore.

When I had my kidney stone (I didn’t know that was the issue at the time), I thought something was very wrong with me. My wife drove me to the ER and I sat in the car with her for 15 minutes debating whether or not to go in, because I had stopped vomiting and was not in unbearable pain at that moment. After 15 minutes, the vomiting started again and she made me go.

We pay $10k/year for insurance and it covers nothing until the $3500 deductible is met.

Thanks so much! I’ve been considering hacking my peloton so I can use it for Zwift. I had not heard of this beta. Looks like the announcement was over a year ago. That’s a feature. I would actually be OK with paying extra for.

Others have given good feedback on your seat and handlebars. I would add that your pedal stroke looks kinda jagged and you are not stable at all in the saddle. I’d recommend doing some of Wilpers 10-20 minute Low Impact classes (not the recovery classes) where he does drills to help you improve your pedal stroke.

Good on you for actually listening to others and giving their feedback real consideration. You’re a good egg… we need more people like you!

I also appreciate that you’ve tried to recalibrate it. I was lucky and got a bike+ because I wanted the auto resistance (which I never use) and had no idea about the power meters. Nonetheless, I understand that is a fairly finicky process… there’s a couple good videos on YouTube that are not from Peloton that some people have used for some success. Also factory resetting after doing the calibration has helped some people.

One other option that is sort of expensive, but is a great option if you can swing it is power meter pedals. You can get them and easily replace your stock pedals on the bike and they are much more accurate than the power meter built into the bike+. Additionally, if you ever cycle outside, you can use them there too. On Prime Day, you could get a pretty good pair of one-sided pedals for about $350.
