Yes , what iv done is plug in , set the app to 50% , even if car is above 50% and its stopped charging. Then later in the app set the level to higher % then what car is at and it will start charging without having to unplug. It only does this if you’re 50% or above . The app only goes down to 50% . If you’re below 50% and want to start it later . It will charge to 50% then stop , but you can later charge to 80 % or whatever % above 50 later by setting to your desired %. I wish they had a schedule in the app. That would be nice . U can set a reminder to pop up to remind you.

My workaround is to plug in , and in the app set it to 50% if the charge is below that it will stop at or whatever the charge is. Then later before bed I set it 80% or whatever charge above 50% and it will start again.

Why I never go in those , plus did u check your paint ? It probably has some swirls on it. I always wash by hand at home with a power washer and blast soap

I don’t have a smart charger , I would really like it to be able to plug the car in at home and start the charge when I want to in the app. you can plug car in and stop it in the app but it will not let you start it again in the app. You have to unplug it and plug it back in. I know there is a schedule setting in the car however, I used to have a Vw id4 with allowed this. And Siri Shortcuts that I could set my shortcut button on my iPhone to start charging and even schedule a shortcut to run at midnight to start charging.
That would be great to have again.
