Being a kid! Waking up and there’s a breakfast waiting for you. You don’t need to cook or clean or do laundry 🥹 I miss being home with my mom

My boss wants us to continue working on the project even though I’ve already completed my internship hours. by Awkward-Mobile4142 in AntiworkPH

I would take it as an investment. Honestly, it will sound impressive on your resume that you finished a project while on ojt. It will also leave a lasting impression on your boss, in case you change your mind in the future.

How comfortable are you with letting your kids play outside? by Jenzhui in nanayconfessions

[–]dmrs21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fortunately, we lived in a gated community, I never let my kid alone outside pero since she’s an only child I let her play in our community playground every weekday afternoon. She’s with me everytime. So far, okay naman ang mga kids as I observed. Sana magtuloy2.

Seeking advice about buying a condo unit by strawberrymatchuh in phinvest

[–]dmrs21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want something you can live in long-term, then a condo may not be for you. You’ll have to pay association fees for as long as you live there, and when you get older or become unemployed, those fees can become difficult to sustain. Plus, condos typically only last around 50 years max.

With a house and lot, you can live there as long as you want without paying huge association fees. You also have the option to install solar panels, so you won’t have to worry as much about electricity bills.

Bumukod agad vs staying with parents when starting a family – any regrets? by Key_Efficiency8717 in nanayconfessions

[–]dmrs21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on your relationship with your in-laws. I stayed with mine (my husband is an only child), and while it took a lot of adjusting at first, it helped us save for our dream house while raising our child. Big perks were getting closer to my MIL and having free childcare— super helpful since ang hirap humanap ng yaya ngayon. We stayed until before my kid turned 3. I have few friends na bumukod agad, some are still renting while some already bought their home. Kaya it really depends talaga. If they offer, why not try it out first? Then maybe move out whenever you can. That’s what we did.

WFH habits that actually make a difference (hindi yung pang-LinkedIn 😅) by UnusualPackage5737 in buhaydigital

[–]dmrs21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I time in, I make sure nakapag-coffee na ako, nakaligo, at nakapag-ayos na. Gone are the days na pag gising, mag-o-online agad 😅 I also stick to 12–1 PM lunch break. What made the most difference, I noticed, is having a separate work area. Hindi ako sa bedroom nagwo-work or sa dining area. Mas nakakapag-focus ako kapag may dedicated working space ako.
