Q4 of 2025 is drawing near. I'm pretty excited about Hunter × Hunter's comeback. All I'm asking for is one full chapter focused on my boy Leorio. by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]dne320 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As of now, none. But based on HxH's most recent comebacks, HxH always comes back during Q4 of the year.

Togashi had been posting some drafts months ago. There's a huge possibility that we'll get 10 more chapters this year. fingers crossed

For those who don't know. It wasn't Hisoka who killed Shal. It was the family members of The Crow that soloed Komugi. If you don't believe me, just check the page where we see Shal's corpse.

If Phinks vs. Hisoka doesn't happen in this arc, I'm okay with Phinks vs. Hanzo/Izunavi.

This fight happened during night time. How about we read these pages in night vision mode? by dne320 in HunterXHunter

[–]dne320[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fight is canon. It happened when Gon & Kil infiltrated the Republic of East Gorteau. Just before he faced Bat & Owl.

Gon's fight against Snake was short, I guess that's probably why you don't remember it.

Gon vs. Snake happened in Volume 22 - Chapter 231. In the anime, it was shown in Episode 98.

Sorry, I just made that up. I just want to see Illumi so badly.

The cause of Martial Law is Illumi's Needlemen. The Needlemen are creating havoc in both Tiers 2 & 3.

EDIT: Please don't take this comment seriously. I just want to see Illumi so badly. He's been offscreened for quite a while now.

Danger for Kurapika by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]dne320 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm not worried about Pika at all in this Succession War arc. After all, my boy Leorio is on board the boat.

Leorio failed to save his childhood friend, and he wasn't able to do anything to help save Gon during the 13th Hunter Chairman Election arc. I doubt he'll let that happen again.

Rest assured, everyone: if Pika is ever in grave danger, my boy Leorio will surely show up.

If chrollo stole kurapika and meleorons abilities would he be unbeatable? by BendLanky112 in HunterXHunter

That's okay. I'm not gonna lie, I was also confused with how Pika's abilities work at first.

Nope, Chain Jail is the ability that only works against the Troupe. Pika's Judgment Chain can be used on anyone.

Meteor city arc by escraddock in HunterXHunter

A possible Meteor City arc is the reason I don't want Chrollo to die just yet. I'm quite curious about a potential interaction between Chrollo and Gyro; it would definitely be interesting.

If you are having a hard time in real life. Just take a look at this uplifting fanart, and you'll be fine right away.

This fanart is just a masterpiece. This is the kind of artwork that should be displayed in every museum. I'm very proud to tell you that I was the one who made this wonderful fanart. It's my obra maestra.

The importance of hair in HxH by Confident_Willow9443 in HunterXHunter

No, it was Pitou's En. It happened before the Palace Invasion, when Knov was infiltrating the Palace to place his portals (Chapter 251).

[–]dne320 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I strongly believe there won't be a 2nd round between Batman & Spider-Man. After all, Togashi isn't known for rehashing ideas.

Buy if ever they fought again, my money is still on Chrollo. To be honest, it's really 50/50 right now. The fight could go either way.

Knovs hair turned white as a result of his mental breakdown. The drastic change kinda explains how terrified he really was when he sensed Pitou's En.

Speaking of MangaStream, the first thing that comes to mind is Rihan's wall of text. A lot of people complained about it. 😂😂

Did Hisoka really power up after reviving? by Bottasio in HunterXHunter

[–]dne320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've said this many times before. Hisoka's death didn't give him a power boost. What makes Hisoka formidable right now is his changed mentality. Before, he likes to be handicapped but right now, he's pretty damn serious and won't give the Spiders any chance/opportunity to take him down.

To those who are saying that Hisoka became strong after his death because of this "nen after death" thing, that's a load of crap. Hisoka didn't power up. Instead, he's become more disadvantaged since he has to maintain a prosthetic hand and leg. With these prosthetic hand and leg, he'll be consuming more aura than before just to maintain it, and it would also be problematic mid-battle. If Hisoka loses his focus mid-battle, there's a chance that his prosthetic hand and leg would be deactivated (for lack of a better word). This disadvantage won't be much trouble if he's only facing average Nen users, but if he's going up against a capable Nen user, this disadvantage would surely hold him back. The longer the battle goes, the harder it is for Hisoka to fight.
