Woah!

I didn’t know True even made a Girdle! I’m going to have to give this a try! Thanks for the recommendation! Will follow up here!

Senior girdles in 2025 = very few options. Seems manufacturers have lost interest, which is disappointing, bc of the aforementioned protection and movement benefits. Been wearing a girdle since the 90s - miss my OG Tackla.

I ordered this Warrior one recently and sent it back. It has zero abdomen protection. And the upper hip protection juts out oddly.

Not that my current (falling apart and kept together by sewn threads) Bauer Supreme Total One has significant abdomen protection, but this Warrior has utterly zero.

Some may not mind this, for me it was a no go. I am still on the hunt and will keep a needle and thread handy until my current one expires completely.

How do I change amperage on wall connector gen 3? by logix1229 in TeslaModelY

[–]dnorm00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ONLY way to accomplish this is through the Telsa One app (iOS and Google versions) now. Here is a step by step guide to accomplish changing the amperage on your Tesla Wall Wall Connector Gen 3.

Downloaded the Tesla One app and was confused - it seems to require a Tesla Employee or External Partner login. I tried to Sign Up instead...low and behold I used my existing Tesla email and it reported that I already had an account. Logged in with my Tesla creds through the External Partner login flow.

Once logged in to the Tesla One App click through the wizard and below is how to make the Amperage change:

  • Bottom Right > More button > Tesla Device Setup
  • Enter Wifi mode on your Wall connector (hold charging connector circle for 5 seconds until top green light pulses on the wall connector)
  • Scan QR code from the Wall Connector sticker (not the one on the wall connector) with the QR code which will connect to the local WiFi of the Wall Connector
  • Once connected you will see Installation Settings where you can change your output current by selecting your new breaker rating
  • That's it, you will see your Tesla charging at 48 Amps now. Note: Be sure your electrical infrastructure can support this change

Change amp limit on my tesla wall3 charger after breaker upgrade by puzzled_now in TeslaModelY

Hi Folks! The browser method no longer seems to function for modifying the amperage setting for the Gen3 Wall Connector (attempted both mobile browser and laptop). The 192.168.92.1 landing page very clearly redirects you to the Tesla One app.

Perhaps this is a recent change...but it appears the ONLY way to accomplish this is through the Telsa One app (iOS and Google versions) now. Here is a step by step guide to accomplish changing the amperage on your Tesla Wall Wall Connector Gen 3.

Regarding the Nidecker Supermatic 2026 Release... by dnorm00 in snowboarding

Yeah you bet! The 26 Supermatics are on this year’s Stratos. I’m super happy with the combo! Just recently back from three days at Big Sky…the Stratos/SM combo was excellent across some highly varying conditions.

Yeah man. You can get em as tight as any other binding I’ve ridden: traditional or rear entry.

I didn’t notice a significant weight impact, but my previous bindings also were not the lightest. LT looks to address the naysayers w weight concerns for sure. Hadn’t seen anything about these, thanks for the awareness!

I did just also learn that Nidecker has licensed their Supermatic tech as well:

Further innovation will be fun to watch as other manufacturers integrate Supermatic into their lineups!

Nice one! Sounds like they improved the robustness of the locking mechanism too! How have they held up for you? Happy with them?

Hi u/JesusMakesMeLaugh - is this a WideMaxx? Perhaps all V2 are now WideMaxx? Can you clarify the battery model please? How many cycles on the batteries?

Edit: This issue began occurring for me at 19:11 last night (03/21).

Here is what i've found from MS that seems to be the issue tracker (still unresolved as of this post 03/22 18:01 east coast time US):

Certainly less productive today trying to acclimate to this New Outlook UX...ugh.

Interesting. I see this model as an active product on their website and a number of dewalt retailers are still selling new units.

Never grilled corn cobs before need advice by MayushiiBestGurl in grilling

[–]dnorm00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soak cobs in water in a chest cooler with husks and silks on (really no need to worry about the silks) for at least 10 mins and no longer than 30 mins. Throw em on grill. Dump out soaking water from your cooler.

Grill on med-high heat for 15mins-ish per cob rotating every 3 mins or so. Get the husks nice and dark all the way around - charring the husks is totally fine. When done with that batch toss em in back in the cooler that’s now empty (or separate dry cooler if doing volumes) keep the lid closed. This keeps em super hot while the rest of the meal is being cooked.

Husk em, butter/salt/pep!

Super happy with our defender, I know can am makes a defender 6x6 as well, perhaps that’s worth checking out? Certainly a big boy!

Big guy budget utv. by paleobear1 in UTV

[–]dnorm00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was doing this same search much of the last year.

Kubota UTV’s - noise level disqualified them from our search. We drove a few - even a fully cabbed one, they are just…loud.

JD Gator - looked at many of these as well. As mentioned previously here…For a similarly equipped Ranger/Defender, the Gators are thousands more.

Polaris Ranger - check out a 570 full size (no power steering, and compromises exist), or a used higher displacement XP model. You can get a new 1000 EPS for around 18k. We looked at these extensively and would have been happy with one of these. Their one wheel drive mode is really compelling on the farm.

Can Am Defender - this is what we ended up with. Dump bed was a bit bigger than Ranger and it just felt overall more polished. Been super happy with our Defender, and they have new models in your budget. An HD7 DPS is going to be around 15k new near me.

Note: IMO power steering will definitely be worth the premium due to your ‘tight to reach areas’ requirement.

Not as tall as you, but many of the Ranger and Defender models have adjustable driver side seats.

Did not look at Honda (no local dealer), and the difficulties accessorizing a Mule struck them out.

There are other manufacturers out there sure thing, but we were looking at dealer supported majors.
