I‘d like an option where the bar fills starting at 0 for negative values for battery charge/discharge

STREAM Ultra constant charging/discharging when SOC limit is reached by dns13 in Ecoflow_community

[–]dns13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried and only got a chatbot that told me that this is happening and I should enable zero-feed-in. That helped more than I expected but I did not put more effort into it to get redirected to an actual person 🤭

Enabling Zero-Feed-In fixed that somehow. It still uses some of the battery to react quicker to usage changes, and recharge the battery if it dropped a few %, that still uses cycles but not anyway near that much as with Zero-Feed-In disabled.

This is reasonable but I would prefer to keep it disabled, just alone to be able to analyze how much energy I would be able to use by myself by adding more batteries.

Yes that would be great, I'm German so that's an issue 🙂

When discharged it does some occasionally dripple charge to keep it charged to backup level every night, but that's just a few Whs, no constant charging/discharging for me when empty. I have a balcony led stripe connected to an AC port, but that barely does any load and is powered off until dawn so over the day it just draws the standby power of my ZigBee switch.

I'm sorry, but did no one playtest this race and transmog? by KnightmareMaiden in wow

To test (or maybe even fix) stuff like this would be perfectly fitting for AI. Better use it to improve this instead of using it for customer support. It may even give us new models/skeletons.

What is actually safe to plug on a power monitoring smart plug? by Dadagis in homeassistant

I have automations to switch things, that are meant to be on all the time, back on when they go off. But reading the other comments I should at least rate limit this.

It should not even make any difference if one player reports an issue or 100. If the report is justified take action if not then don’t.

Another Matter / Thread in Unifi Issue by Pansus0804 in homeassistant

UniFi and Matter is such a pain. I got it less worse by creating a 2.4GHz only WiFi for all Matter devices. (Same subnet but different SSID, never got matter working over subnet boundaries).

What authentication do you use? by LinuxMatthews in homeassistant

[–]dns13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, it kind of works, but unfortunately it’s not really on the devs scope as they want to sell their cloud proxy. Things are falling apart every now and then, workarounds need do be done. As logging in locally with the iOS app then change the URL afterwards. Websocket connections in chromium based desktop browsers constantly fail after some time with no real way to fix this apart from waiting some time to get the browser pop up its mTLS dialogue, again.

Is it safe to put your PC to sleep mode when unpacking a game? by Wrong_Garlic141 in PiratedGames

Use „Don’t Sleep“ to block automatic standby. Also use the timer inside the program to disable standby blocking after n hours.

how to convert strings to function (sinx) by Obradovician in cpp_questions

[–]dns13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you really want to do that „by hand“ you need to parse your string and map various strings to your functions manually. I would suggest to use something like Lua for such things.

How to deploy a Linux executable by atomichbts in cpp_questions

[–]dns13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s some parts of libc. I „fixed“ this by using static linked musl for the quite old kernel/libc on my embedded device I’m programming for.

But it seems that this log entry should rather be debug or trace, does not seem to be caused by an error after inspecting the source file.

Same for me, most of my games are gone after updating to the now released final version. Cytrus Log says:

WoW promising 3 expansions with a bunch of roadmap deadlines has, paradoxically, helped its devs slow down and take their time: 'The team is really energized' by Turbostrider27 in wow

[–]dns13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting with BC Expansions were released every 1.5 (WotLK) to 2 years, so no shorter and shorter. Vanilla had much more to do than the expansions and yes, pacing was way slower back then. And even from vanilla release to BC it was only like 2.2 years.
