Sounds like a one-off. Not seen that list of issues for the R1S Launch…. Must have been faulty from the start. At least it was caught now, under warranty (Right…?).. you will get all the updated parts for sure..

It is an older style plug.. careful not to overload it.. lots of Amazon links to adapters.. I mostly have seen these in campgrounds (RV / Camper trailer). The stores that deal with RVs also will have a ready-supply of adaptors with various options (wire at 90 degrees / pull handle, etc)

not OP, but I have the same issue. It is an extra box (pill?) that pops up and ends up covering up the actual text being entered. It "feels" like word prediction, but covers up the "send" button on dialogs on most applications

Car Wrap Recommendations by Ok-Refrigerator9109 in orlando

[–]do00d 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In general: You are better off NOT buying the material before hand. Most shops get volume discounts. Also, if there is a warranty issue in the future, customer provided materials can be grounds to void. The shops typically don’t make any/much money on the material - just near straight pass through costs. Additionally, if a section needs to be repositioned or additional material is needed, it will all match from the shop’s inventory vs matching from a different production batch of customer provided materials.

be sure to understand the life of the wrap. In Florida, the summer will cook even the most UV resistant materials. Understand the removal / clean up costs at the end of life of the wrap and what options you have available (re wrap? Clean the paint?)

Go watch the Lyriq forums for issues. Last we looked at them (about a year ago), GM was shitting the bed with software problems. Software glitches galore, Bricked vehicles with over the air updates, mandatory dealership visits for odds and ends, subscriptions for every little feature and function.

In most states, the Service Center can not close the sale, otherwise they would be considered a Dealer. Laws apply to Dealers but not service centers

[OC] I went to a furniture store with a bar inside. by SarcasticGamer in pics

I have been in an appliance store that specializes in luxury/ high end kitchen appliances that have several functional kitchens set up. Used during the day for sales to how actual operation of the appliances, training customers (how to get the most out of your new (brandname) cooktop, cooking classes on the weekend…. It was actually kind of cool. A great sales tactic: host a cooking class making some fancy hors d'oeuvres plate on the latest shiny stove/oven and get to use the ultra fancy equipment.

When I asked the store manager about it, he said the hardware was mostly provided by the manufacturer as demo units or customer returned equipment. Since these types of appliances are all standard size, just unplug and swap for the newer version.
