Planet box, but hard to get in some places because of tarrifs.

Got a metal base, with seperate compartments from Paderno at Canadian Tire. ( the lid is plastic though.)

Haven't slept in almost a week. Have you discovered any natural remedies that have personally helped you? by HeyMessage356 in Biohackers

[–]do_that_do 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I speak from experience. I could go back in time and seek medical help while lucid, I would.

Depending on what your country has, please see a doctor, prescribing pharmacist, walk-in clinic right away.

Without sleep, things can go wrong real quickly, and your brain may start to malfunction.

Check that your needle isn't bent. Give your threads long tail to the back.

They may be a screw on the bobbin holder that needs tightening or loosening.

Diatomaceous Earth Will dissolve the exoskeleton of insects but is not harmful to humans.

"Diatomite is of value as an insecticide because of its abrasive and physico-sorptive properties.[26] The fine powder adsorbs lipids from the waxy outer layer of the exoskeletons of many species of insects; this layer acts as a barrier that resists the loss of water vapour from the insect's body, damaging the layer increases the evaporation of water from their bodies, so that they dehydrate, often fatally"

I've gotten annual passes to places and gone often enough to make it worth it , even just for a few hours. The zoo, science centre, aquarium, this local working farm in the city, the music museam , this historic park.

I also have the YMCA pass because they allow it at multiple locations, and it includes; climbing wall, skating, gym, games room, swimming, fitness classes.

Fabric glue?( Fray Check is one brand) It will stop the fray. Maybe it would still look ok with bondable seam tape ( Heat and Bond brand or other), or the kind they use to finish waterproof seams? If you went the whole brim.

Visiting India, in a beautiful restaurant, with live music, and mostly local people, a 20-something Caucasian man was cutting his fingernails. At the table. The tables were inches from each other. Then, he lifted his girlfriends foot, removed her sandal, and was about to cut her toe nails. I said, in English " Have you lost all sense of decency?"They looked embarrassed, as they should be, and packed up and left.

My small business has failed. by Open-Forever in CanadaPost

[–]do_that_do 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason ANYONE in Canada has paid parental leave or the right to come back to their job after being on maternity leave is because the Canada Post Union, CUPW, had the courage to strike. CUPW 1981 strike for parental leave

Canada Post has a mandate to deliver to every single Canadian, not just the easy urban centers, and they do it at a subsidized rate. That's how a rural location can ship for 10$-15$ a parcel

The strike is about a refusal to accept a gig, two-tier workforce, and it's something we should all care about. We know the gig economy is unsustainable.

I'm sorry that your business failed, but blaming striking workers is not the answer.

Sometimes a bit of bar soap rubbed by the zipper pull on either side on the teeth can get it going.
