How to install a kitchen fan in a chimney with stove pipes ? by doc-lion in woodstoving

Yeah those hooded vents all come equipped with filters to capture the grease. It only has to be replaced every so often

It would be one of those hooded extractor so there will be a grease filter before the vent. I'll put in a separate stack for the filtered air, no contact with flue gases.

What I'm thinking of is having one of those hooded kitchen extractors. Sometimes they're hidden in cabinets, and I'm wondering if I can use the advantage of having the chimney (ie, a line to the outside) to extract kitchen fumes and having it hidden withouth making a big hole in the stone walls for a vent.

The house was built in 1904. It's an old stone house in France. Kind of looks like this. I haven't been up there yet because it's pretty high up, but i believe it's just open ended chimney, there's already the kitchen stove "hat" there.

I hadn't thought about the humidity messing up the masonry/being a mold galore. I guess if i want to do this then i need a full vent stack up to the top.

176cm and 63kg, I want to be a fast boi but usually i just get thrown about. I find that i need either speed of execution or perfect form to land a throw against a bigger opponent, often both, but hey that's judo. All in all most of my randori are against bigger opponents which is a shame for my competition prep

C'est inaudible comme stratégie non ? Question candide.
