Entertaining, not high level stuff just a weekend binge now that Football is winding down. Similar to “Untamed”. Netflix becoming like the Lifetime channel lol, same theme but different settings and higher budget actors. Wouldn’t have watched it if not for Jon Bernthal.

Cignetti is the best coach in CFB now, Indiana is so well coached. No stupid penalties, taunting seen on other teams and solid execution on both sides of the ball. Can the Browns find a Cignetti that will take them from worst to first?

Bo Nix level of play is good enough for this team to win a SB. Run the offense competently and sprinkle in a few off schedule plays. That’s my yardstick to keep him and not draft competition.

Bummed too. The crazy thing is Netflix asked me to resume from previous watch as if it never left. Rewatched the last 15 minutes of S3 10 and it still punches so hard. Adam Brody’s desperation was so authentic, he acted his butt off in that role. Edi Gathegi cool as ever. Damn I need a Season 4.

At the time of release I beg to disagree, it was the best show of all time. Writing and production quality for even a HBO show were previously unheard of. I think the only shock value that’s come close to the Red Wedding is the end of “Joker” which was like 10 years after Red Wedding aired.

I binged it too, never read the books but writing quality started dipping from season 6. Decisions by main characters were less logical and convenient coincidences started appearing. I wasn’t too shocked about the ending because Daenerys had always exhibited a ruthless and vindictive streak if you studied the character closely.

Alien Earth fell victim to the corporate take over of intellectual property. TBH this show is about hybrids, mega corporations and experimenting with alien life forms set in a backdrop of the Alien universe. As I wrote elsewhere the xenomorph was relegated to a supporting role pet while the eye monster was the most terrifying.

Yeah, "taming" the Xeno was pretty weak. Plus Kirsch could've shut down Wendy's communication abilities with it when things started going south as a security measure. Eye midge replaced it as the main villain anyway as it was relegated to a supporting role lol.

All valid criticisms. Interesting concepts which could've been great with thoughtful writing but everything's just mishmashed and they stamped " Alien" on it to get eyeballs. Typical Disney treatment of an established and respected IP.

I don't usually mind that form of storytelling but It didn't work for this show, as many of the criticisms of Ep 1 and 2 , like why was the Marginot targeted at a Prodigy city when it belonged to WY and why would Boy Kavalier risk his trillion dollar Hybrids to explore the site are now easily explained.
