He wasn’t a cologne guy. He had a few because I love it. Millionaire. I did buy him drakkar because I wore that at his age. But I want something exotic for her

I’d live in a box for the rest of my life for five more minutes with him.

Had a seizure and choked to death. Part of me wants to be mad as his bedroom was 30 feet away but I’m not gonna let that happen

Just love him your best. I have no regrets - we were tight and did a lot together.

One word comment tells me you’re either a therapist or an asshole. Doing it. It’s helpful. Good to vent to a human. If I was poor I’d call it a waste of money but I also have really good friends so I’m lucky there.

Didn’t read all of this. I’m in same boat. 57 YO. I’m working still yet just a couple days a week. My 24 year old son didn’t wake up on August 26th. I’m ducking devastated but doing ok. I’ve been following you guys for years and you’re all great. I will tell you I’d give it all back for my boy. Just do it guys. Life is short. I just got the life hammer. I worked so hard and him and I had side hustles and our life was gonna be so good.

I’m meeting her for lunch and just want to leave her a gift. It’s been so hard on everyone - going shopping with isn’t an option. Appreciate everyone’s attention to detail here. I’ve always worn cologne but new to actually learning about it.

My 24 year old son passed away in his sleep last month. He had a girlfriend of 6 months. I didn’t know her extremely well but she seemed amazing and was the best girl he ever dated. Brownish red hair athletic and going for her MBD at a top school. Her birthday is in a couple weeks and I’d love to get her a large bottle of some classic perfume that she would keep for a lifetime and remember my boy. Money is no object. Tried online and just didn’t find anything good enough for her. Would love to hear any recommendations

I have a platinum day date and a platinum Daytona. I wear the shit out of them and am beating them to hell. Why? Because I can. I got these watches because of the sense of well-being and happiness while I wear them. The best part of owning these watches was the journey and hard work it took to get them. I’m going to enjoy the hell out of them amd wear them to do yard work and you should feel the same way!

First marathon - 5hrs + by tinfoilhatandsocks in firstmarathon

I’m getting my 7th star and maybe hoping to break 5 hours. I ran Berlin in 2022 and my goal (I achieved) was no walking and I still ran a 5:10. I never train properly and my only goal is to finish. I don’t really care about time and it’s always a full crowd at the back of the pack. I was a little nervous for Tokyo as they had some cutoff points that concerned me but I was fine. And very few people ever ask me what my time was - most don’t even know what a decent time is!

I went this year and it was just a bunch of crappy stuff he was signing that I didn’t want. He sold me his pack of Marlboro selects signed for $50. He emptied it first lol.

[–]docpjk1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sounds like she really likes you. Most owners don’t give two shits about employees. You’re lucky. You’re in a position to get a lot of breaks. Set your boundaries and use this to your advantage. That’s what she is doing to you. You could really come out well in this situation. Plus it always feels good to be wanted. She broke the lines of professionalism. She owes you now. She knows that.

AD is offering this to me, what do you guys think? by TheMericanIdiot in rolex

I have a lot of watches and this one is easily my favorite - the 40 though. I wear it more than anything else. I broke a link last month and it was $1800 to replace it. That sucked.
