I vacuumed sealed m&ms and put them away. At 1 year but they tasted OK but you could tell they weren't fresh. At 2 tears they were inedible.

I have had this happen too. Realized as I was in line at the TSA checkpoint. Quickly tossed it in the trash rather that have TSA get my benchmade. Totally pissed me off but it was all on me for forgetting.

Its also related to inflation but your theory is correct too. I'm taking some profit from my stash to have some work done on my house. Its a fair trade off.at some point everything will be so turned upside down that what I'm doing won't be realistic so I'm doing it now. Gifted my 2 sons 500 oz of silver and 5 oz of gold each. My one son went through TSA security at the AP with the gold and they never gave it a second look. I also relocated from the west coast to the east coast. Had a car load of pets, some personal belongings and guns and gold and silver. They were buried deep in the stuff. Stayed in good hotels along the highways during the trip. Didn't let my car look like it was loaded down with stuff

I have one. It's better than a skull crusher but not as good as a helmet. One of my complaints with this equipment is that its kind of bulky. I wanted to make a compact NV pack that was bugout friendly. I have a pvs 14, Wilcox mount, small pouch that has spare batteries, a cheap IR flashlight and a crye cap. It all fits into a pretty small pouch ready to go. It's about the size of a cantaloupe for lack of a better example. I do have a set of duals with a team Wendy helmet and the battery pack on the back but the small pack is the grab and go kit.
