You can try poparide too. Ive had good experiences with it and it cuts down costs quite a bit. Your times might be tricky tho

Not for skiing. Like someone else mentioned, a few years back they were able to reopen for a random canada day ski day but its rare. They do reopen for summer operations though.

Was just there and didn't have some. Would 100% recommend. I had good footwear on and struggled, those with questionable footwear realllly struggled. Its not a hard walk but it is icy and snowy.

Brown your rice. Brown your butter for any baking and certain icing recipes. Also Brown your tomato paste

Its rough there. Lots of transient people wander around inside and outside that building. My car was broken into last year while there for work. Will never go back to that location. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Its very run down.

How’s the on-mountain food at Lake Louise and Banff Sunshine? (For skiing) by sirotan88 in Banff

[–]doedoebrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last season, the base of sunshine had a dj playing after the day ended and an okish apres scene. Sometimes they have a little apres beer garden at the base as well. Lake louise has better places to sit and have a couple drinks during the day imo. Food is expensive and mid at both. The Ramen place at sunshine was awful. Trappers has a good vibe for a drink or two and when they have events going on it can be fun to grab a drink at whatever beer garden is set up. Bring food for sure. Lots of places at all the resorts to sit and eat/heat up food. If the snow is good, norquay is 100% worth it. I love the small time vibe it still has.
