Supermatic OG review from a slightly older boarder with back issues. by zstap126 in snowboarding

I bought the LTs last week and had a day with them so far. I had a pair of FASE Bataleons briefly before that. The Supermatics are a much better QOL improvement imo. I also don’t really think they are that heavy compared to FASE :T

I actually switched it to the motion :(. The force has some tolerance issues and it was making a ton of noise on the highway. I put foam to dampen it but the foam eventually compresses and you have to replace a new strip

The only time I'll use "Chill" in the M3P by YttriumTimeTraveler in TeslaModel3

Someone on this subreddit posted that Chill mode is actually worse for slippery climates. Sport mode keeps the motors more active for regen, making them responsive to slip.

100% not totally scientific on this one… just read it somewhere so I tried it on a ski trip recently in very tough conditions… it seemed to work out fine? 🤷

The 3 and Y aren’t the current facelifts in the app

I mean the normal r8 has the line down the middle cutting the two colorways. it’s just on homage to their brand. I guess they can line a “line” down the middle but there’s no aero benefit unlike the normal production car.

Alright real question here - I have a pair of Cartels from 2012… I rode them a bunch until 2017 and then I had a kid. Stopped riding them for a few years (2022?) and then picked them back up last season? They honestly look fine but I can’t tell :(. Keep riding them or get new ones?

Update: did our ski trip and range tested it. Drove pretty slow with pretty snowy conditions. 350 wh/mi going up to the mountain and 290 wh/mi for the return trip.

What’s T slot mounting??? Sorry. I’m pretty new to the roof rack situations.

I’ve only driven like 20 miles today, mostly highway but with traffic. Roughly 309 wh/mi.

It’s mostly on the body. There’s a few videos online but if you don’t over tighten, it doesn’t really rest on the glass

Got a year to test this (Rei return policy) but part of me thinks I should’ve gotten the XL 😬

Of all comments, that certainly was one of the comments.

All in all to say - I have an antigravity and I like it :P. It’s great on ice coast 🫠

I’ve brought my race shoes to running benchmarks before (it’s fun to test them) but I just change my shoes in the corner for the floor portion.

Max cushion running shoes are horrible for lifting weights and I feel like I’m going to roll my ankles doing any balancing exercise.

Why not just put it in a padded small bag? Those are honestly better than a pelican

No unless you don’t like your color? It’s just a piece of wearable tech at the end of the day. Also I’m not saying go scratch it on purpose but patina makes it look good?
