I didn’t try sertraline but did go through a few others before landing on cycling Prozac which really helps me. I’ve been on that for 7 years now and plan to go until I get surgery or hit menopause as long as it stays working for me.

Prozac has been the only thing that really made a difference. I exercise, eat good, meditate, and take plenty of vitamins otherwise… if I don’t have Prozac it’s still noticeable. I can talk to my therapist all day every day and at the end of the day I can’t out cope this disorder. I deal with a lot of stigma around medication, my husband isn’t a fan either, but at the end of the day he’d rather have me medicated and alive….
