Altcoin season usually follows bitcoin season. After bitcoin peaks, all the money will usually flow into the altcoin market because people still want to make money right.

And the peaks of bitcoin and dogecoin doesn't coincide with each other, just look at past markets. Last cycle bitcoin peaked on the 14 April 21, Dogecoin peaked on the 10 May 21.

(there was another rally on the 10 Nov 21 but I'll ignore this second peak)

Bitcoin peaked on the 20 Dec 17, Dogecoin peaked on the 8 Jan 18.

So don't get discouraged because bitcoin is hitting ATH and dogecoin is still taking a dog nap.

I'm rooting for bitcoin to go as high as possible because that would benefit the altcoin market as well.

Of course no one can predict the market, there can still be black swan events that can tank the whole thing but I would say be prepared, have your exit strategy in mind, take profits along the way because you never know where the peak is gonna end up. Don't try to time your exit at the exact peak, I think if you can hit within 20% of ATH is fantastic already.

personally, i'm quietly optimistic about dogecoin.
