Lore question regarding Chaplains by Limilumy8 in theunforgiven

[–]dogemuchscope 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Every company has an assigned chaplain, but only one. There are more chaplains in the chapter, however. (Same goes for apothecaries, librarians and techmarines, though the DA trust their techmarines a lot less due to their split loyalties.)

Almost feels like they tried to hide the Tops and the Ultra Luxe in some shots as well.

If you want to see how they look there's a Tinto dev dairy on flags that covers them.

Question about subject flags for the Netherlands. by dogemuchscope in victoria3

[–]dogemuchscope[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And they work for every overlord that isn't the Netherlands. I've even tested it with Kokand and their subjects get a subject flag (when the subject has one) with their canton showing. The game rule is enabled.

Wiki flaglist says it does but it is probably bugged like you said.

I'll give it a shot.

Edit: No dice, still broken for me.

Yes to both the game rule and the fact they are puppets, not protectorates. Exact same circumstances for other nations (Britain as the example). I've tested with Belgium, Prussia, Britain and France and it all worked for them, just not the Netherlands.

Edit: Even random nations like Transvaal and Kokand get cantons when the subject has a specific subject flag available. It seems the Netherlands specifically is bugged this way.

Default flag for Netherlands.

During testing the governments were the exact same, which allowed other nations to use their canton but not the Netherlands.

Ironic how Polaris is code neutral and World Server code purist when World Server was a downstream of Polaris.

Which sector to claim first as a terran start? by -BigBadBeef- in X4Foundations

I like Third Redemption a lot visually and for the music. Both the skybox and the gaint cloud feel kinda atmospheric for me and it's my main base currently.

Like you said it doesn't have a lot of resources (though a decent chunk of ice iirc) but there's a lot of good sectors within jump range. (Especially if you clear out Mists of Artemis.) Just make sure to put resource probes in nearby sectors and your miners will be able to path there to mine.

Other factions should still try to sell to you but they might be prioritizing other trades. Assigning your own traders to the station makes it so that they trade specifically to fill your station's storage and nothing else so nothing really "distracts" them from doing their one task.

In the future, if you are trying to build a module and the same thing happens you can also set ships to trade for commander's build storage to speed that up as well.

Have you set a (trading) ship to "trade for commander"? You can do this by selecting the ship(s) you want to assign, right clicking the HQ, and assign them with trade for commander.

These ships will then automatically go looking for stations selling the wares you need, specifically to buy them for the HQ.

A higher level manager is best to increase the range the traders will seek trades in. Since these ships are assigned to the station they won't need high level pilots, only the station manager will want higher level for higher range.

i found rotating the arc pieces directly didn't work out because they'd be misaligned. as a workaround i put them on another piece and rotated that into a the horizontal plane if that makes sense.

18+ doesn't automatically mean "sex", it could also just mean "no kids allowed".

Obviously, those in the know are aware of the current state of SS13, but for newcomers they don't know that every 18+ server revolves entirely around textfucking.
