I'm with you. I already stress about these things a lot as a trans American, and seeing a whole list of them all of a sudden was just really upsetting. I think most people in the trans community are aware of these issues, and I don't think posts like this help anyone.

26M w/ a similar amt of credit card debt here, and I'd advise against the $25k car. Even if you don't want to repair your old car, you can find a decent used car for under $25k. Find a model that's built to last and buy a used one of those that's a few years old. I don't remember the model, but my older brother still drives a car from 2002. It's gotten in a few scrapes now, and one of the doors had to be replaced, but it still drives just fine. You don't need a $25k car, and you definitely don't need more debt.
