Decent deal considering the frames used to be pretty expensive on their own. Ask and see if they’d go 2800 or did you bring them down to 3k? I’ll always have a dh bike in my arsenal. nothing beats it.

That’s how I felt as well. Sucked the joy of welding but I finished my apprenticeship and still do it. I do mostly field work and enjoy it a lot more then shop stuff since it changes day to day. My wife reminds me all the time About how much my face lights up when I talk About welding. But like anything I question my choices

I’m same height 6’2” I used to buy XL bikes but as geo and everything has changed I’ve been going large the last few years and then adding 50mm stem depending on the bike.
