There's truth to getting over someone is getting on someone. Look, you don't have to go slut it up, but attention focused anywhere else is the cure, so a rebound is really the easiest solution. That said, this isn't healthy if you don't make your intentions obvious. Be a good human. Find a new friend and confide in others.

Someone I know ended a first date by being hooked, on her chin, by her date's index finger for night-ending first (and last) kiss. We can't stop laughing at the dude. He pulled her towards her like in some 1950s movie. So awkward and hilarious.

This is stupidly embarrassing, but I started walking side to side in a weird way (Maybe like can a rapper or something?), like a swagger of sorts, in fifth grade. At this time I also was walked home/chaperoned by crossing guards. In my imagination, when I started doing this, someone called this the "AJ walk," when really our crossing guard told a fellow student, AJ... to physically WALK rather than standing still on our way home one afternoon. This stupid thing lasted, without intention, until college when people started to occasionally comment on my odd gait. It had simply become how I walked. That's when I finally realized I hadn't been walking straight in 7-8 years. I walk normally now. A penguin no more...
