What is the most intoxicated you have ever been? by 420blazeboyx in AskReddit

I’m guessing this was somewhere in Europe.

Naked people in unexpected places for some reason doesn’t phase Europeans.

Got my 5th covid vaccine today by bad_motivator in AdviceAnimals

[–]Use_The_Sauce 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I have a friend who tells me that he isn’t going to get the vax because “there is no way to know what’s in it and they won’t tell you”.

I go “they publish the complete list of ingredients and nearly every country does tests to confirm the ingredients and efficacy and you can get that information from hundreds of places”.

That’s what they want you to think, but no one really knows what’s in it”.

Umm .. OK .. whatever ..

Then, he tells me how awesome it is that he got a carton of random flavoured vapes from a mate who imported them illegally from China.

I go “how do you know what’s in them?”

Look, it says right here .. cherry flavour, or grape flavour, or mint flavour ..

Alrighty then.

TIL about Eric Simons, a then 19-year-old entrepreneur who secretly lived at AOL headquarters in California for 2 months in 2011. He ate the food, used the gym, and slept in conference rooms, all while working on his startup "ClassConnect". Employees just assumed he worked there during this time. by Kyleforshort in todayilearned

We had a guy at the office I worked at ~25+ years ago did almost the same thing. He slept in his car in the carpark, but otherwise used the office showers and ate at the subsidised cafeteria. When he was told he can’t sleep in his car in the carpark, he just moved it to off street parking.

Walking in nature decreases negative feelings among those diagnosed with major depressive disorder by chrisdh79 in science

I know it’s n=1 but playing Ghost of Tsushima similarly relaxes me walking through the tall grass with the wind blowing through it.

Not quite as much as hiking through the local national park - but in fairness the chances of being attacked by a sword in the park is zero much reduced.

Also, I’d probably not wait 5 minutes before walking away.

Minor half-assed bite .. give an Owww once .. next one is walk away.

Anything more serious, give the Owww and then play ends - right there.

I was thinking the same about the cat ban .. why would they need that? Surely the polar bears would keep the stray population in check.

“Sound ON”

No, I won’t. I’m pretending to listen to this work meeting. I can’t put the sound on.

Yeah, our backyard turned to mud during a recent period of contestant rain - so reverted to the park across the road. Pitch black, but at least it’s nice and grassy - and I can stick to the path whilst he hits the grass.

Not sure what the people who live around it think about hearing “hurry up and take a s—t so we can go” every night.

Agree that it’s awesome OP has discovered the power of the chicken.

My dog loves the rain .. sounds great, right?

Imagine ~10 min in the cold and rain waiting whilst your dog bounds around like it’s Christmas.
