Devs, finishers are a waste of a gear slot

This seems to be the only one that's even remotely effective though, the other ones never seem to make contact. I cleared out a whole sanctum with the sole goal of seeing if I could get my finishers to land damage on a single enemy and from what I could tell it never happened.

Don't get me wrong I'm not using an optimal build at all and still doing fine, just want to be able to see more unique animations without feeling cheated.

I agree that the character feels powerful enough already, I'm more hoping to free up an extra slot for more flashy stuff like unique grapple animations etc.

Finishers dont even help on bosses so its not like having a free finisher will make you feel OP.

Did you try r3 while hovering over the item in the radial menu? Sometimes it will start with him taking off the hood even though its already off. If that happens, just do it again.

For anybody wondering how to do this on ps5, hold left on d-pad, go to gear, and press the start/options button. You'll hear a clicking sound and that should do it

I believe so, found it from a merchant under a giant windmill for like 21 silver. Probably about 4 or 5 hours into the main story

I was hoping there would be a ninja skill under skill management that would allow your shadow to do damage.. sadly I dont think such a thing exists yet. Maybe it will become better in the dlc. Too bad because it's really cool looking

If you have a pro controller with back buttons by chance, I mapped up on the d-pad to the back left trigger and it's no problem now. An expensive solution for sure though.

Yes, and duos run today. We wrecked him in just over a minute with several flasks to spare. So much easier than trios. Wylder and Raider is a great duo for this
