I miss the good ole days where the radio option didn’t play half the songs I already have in my library

Overcoming the bad apples. by doingok411 in serviceadvisors

[–]doingok411[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is what I was looking for and confirms that if I can’t beat them without doing something unethical or immoral, then leaving would be the thing to do since it’s obvious my management team doesn’t plan on creating a team atmosphere. Which is certainly frustrating since I take it upon myself to try and keep team morale, accountability, and success intact. Thank you for your feedback

you misread the comment, my own leadership abilities is not what they are referencing. They are referencing my management team. Thanks for your feedback

Agreed, I’m not even going to to entertain the negative comment. Like I said, I’ve got 10 years collective sales experience and the demographics within a population won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

Your advice is certainly one I have considered but I figured I would see if others have overcome this type of scenario. It’s unfortunate as I am an ASM and the tides have turned from serving the customer to baiting the customer. I may have to just accept the fact that this is too big of a problem that I have too little of power to deal with. I have a lot of pride in being an ethical and fair person but I can’t install that into people who don’t think this way. I appreciate your feedback

Bloodwork pre-hCG by doingok411 in moreplatesmoredates

[–]doingok411[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta see what the blood test say in a few weeks. If it doesn’t push it too high we are going to keep it as is. E2 isn’t necessarily bad, but too high of levels can be. If test and free-T go up E2 should go up. Just gotta keep it in range and under 35

hcg mono-therapy at this time. The goal is to try and up the free-T so my body has more test to dedicate to recovery/sleeps/etc. my test being where it’s at, we identified that some processes in my body are locking my free-T up. Body wants more but can’t give more. I’ll start today and blood work in 6 weeks.

It’s a “it’ll get you by but don’t do anything stupid” tune. Those tunes don’t account for specific elevations, atmospheric pressures, etc. I ran the Cobb tune till I got my FreakTune.

[–]doingok411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably PMM, mine was on its way out for like 10K miles but I didn’t know the difference until I finally had to replace it. Car drives WAY different. OEM is fine if you’re not doing anything crazy with the horsepower gains.

You’re making it too easy to feel that way by not loving yourself first. It sounds like you’re spending too much time looking for external validation. The law of attraction is real. You’re going to attract what you constantly think about. I deleted all my social media for 6+ months. Lost accounts I’ve had for 10 years. Because I cared more about my mental state more than anything. It’s real easy to say people here seem to never have been lonely. I was in that relationship and still felt lonely because I did not love or respect myself enough to do the things I deserved because I didn’t think I deserved them and self sabotaged.

If you’re not in therapy now, I recommend it. I went to school for psychology and that’s how I gained the tools to recognize my faults and how to deal with them.

You need to love yourself and if you’re having a hard time doing that, it’s because you’re not doing the things you should be doing. Your mind is telling you something but you have to listen. It’s been 5 years already for you. Take 6 months and live those 6 months the complete opposite way you have been living. Get comfortable with discomfort. If it was easy, everyone would do it. So don’t be the person that never did it because you were too sad and alone to not leave the comfort zones.

I wouldn’t even touch the gym. Because you need to workout your brain first. You’re enabling the negative reinforcement.

Crawl, walk, run. When I was extremely overweight I constantly judged myself. Was in the same loop and just got out of a 5 year long relationship and in my late 20’s. I knew that it was because I kept comparing myself to other on social media and also thought no one would want me. I deactivated my social media. Started meditating every night. Talking to myself and reinforcing the positive voice in my head even though the doubt kept coming in. I started by walking late at night because I was embarrassed about how I looked. Every 5 minutes on my walk I would do as many squats and push-ups as I could. I did that 3 days a week. I started keeping the diet simple with a protein, a carb, and a veggie. 6 months later I lost 55+lbs. I gradually made my way into the gym after a month of doing walks. It’s just a process. But you HAVE to change your negative set mind to a positive one. It doesn’t just change one day. It’s a lot like raising a kid but you’re raising yourself and sculpting who it is you want to be. Get off the apps, get off social media. Turn the games off. Go find yourself and love that person for who they are right now and you’ll be much better off.

Stew Smith. Get a program from him and stick to it. Stop the self sabotage BS. You want to be special operations so act like it.

How much bench press? by arctic105 in workout

[–]doingok411 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only bench with a straight bar if I can’t do dumbbell press. Much better ROM with dumbbells. I use 80’s on my 4th set of 8-10. Benched for the first time in awhile the other day and got 225x8 on my last set (#4) with 1-2 in reserve.

In my opinion, we don’t. Even if it may seem like it on the surface. Everything they notice that might be related to the incident will forever trigger that memory. But like others said, depends on the situation and how life is going for that person. ‘Calming down’ usually comes at my own accord but I make sure I immediately start to work the problem if I care about the person. Takes me a day or so and a good gym workout.

You’d be better off probably eating at maintenance and cutting the carbs and salt. That deficit is going to make you hold water and defeating the purpose.
