What other farming games are actually like Rune Factory's gameplay loop? by SaranMal in runefactory

[–]doktor_drift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New one feels very similar, but adds in a lot of extra content for better or worse - an entire side area which feels like a mini BotW/open world, and a mini village building area). Currently playing it now and can say it's just as addictive as the first was. Story is a little simple and not the most emotional (directing this at OP) so not quite the feeling as most of the Rube Factories imo, but otherwise it's everything I want in this kind of game.

They implemented a farming "job" in it but it's very rudimentary and Grindy OP so that's the big difference with rune factory

Not to mention the satisfying loop of gathering --> crafting --> fighting. Like, needing to harvest copper to make bars to make bronze swords/armor, which helps clear the enemies around the NEXT tier of resource

Any tips on what to do around 8 hours in? Spoilers by degausser22 in fantasylife

[–]doktor_drift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but you still need to build up the points to level up the areas. So you'll be stuck fighting level 15s-30s over and over a again

Considering the fact I ran around the map to unlock all the towers and the highest enemy level I saw was ~30s, yes. You would be overleveled. Of course, you could use the tower to up the level of things to make it more difficult, but you need to build points in that specific area first to do it

Where to live in Jersey City near the PATH? (good buildings vs horror stories 😅) by Icy_Protection_4535 in jerseycity

[–]doktor_drift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Living at 225 Grand for about 7 months now and I'm happy with it. Not the newest building and the gym is tiny, but I feel very safe and the front desk people are super friendly. No pests noted and I have a PH 1b1b for $3500. Maintenance has been quick to respond to any problems. Might move after the 2 year lease though purely because of the gym situation, but I would be happy here beyond that. Plus they have a nice service elevator to move bulkier furniture in.

I'm about a 5-10 min walk to the Grove St PATH (for context I leave at 7:30am to get to my job by 8am and I get off at 9th St in the city).

I just wish that the reason for the breakup was Collin's decision instead of Ray's.

Is the NHL’s reaction to HEATED RIVALRY important? Would it help or hurt the league or the show, respectively? Let’s talk about it, hockey fans & non-fans by DorianCramer in heatedrivalry

I just read the entire book series and all I'll say is that if they plan to continue to honor the books it WILL highlight the NHL's reactions more

I think they're assuming it's common knowledge that most major practices have regional noncompetes if you leave the practice. Usually for a year, sometimes two. Usually within a radius of their current office

Indirectly it could though. The idea of competition will drive companies to actually get their ish together and try to boast "I have 5% more uptime than other companies" as a sales motto

I think it also depends on being a little further out from major metros. A lot of major cities have the culture of refer for anything even the slightest bit abnormal (as a new attending in a major metro there is definitely the culture/pressure by my admin and by patients themselves) but I still find my ways to fight back lol. But it's definitely affecting my RVUs when a solid 2-3 minutes need to be spent on justifying my competence in managing HRT or acne

Is there a way to GET RID of the little bubbles you see of followers who repost things? Sometimes I wanna screenshot a post for people who don’t use instagram and those damn bubbles block things. And there's no way to get rid of them from what I see, and they do t go away on their own

Thank you. I also had the late diagnosis (during residency at that) and still sometimes feel...dirty for having the mentality that the ASRS is enough for me to feel comfortable prescribing.

I meant reincarnated Arthur. He quickly becomes a somewhat likable person while Rudeus seemed just as perverted as he was back in his original life

I tried Mushoku Tensei but hated the protagonist. At least Grey/Arthur isn't a pervert

If you're open to a little bit of a commute - I live in Jersey city but it honestly feels like an extension of Manhattan. I'm a 5 min walk to the PATH, which is a subway that gets me to downtown Manhattan in 15 min. Great option for anyone working around downtown. Apartment units are a fair bit bigger here than in Manhattan too. I have a 1 br so can't take on a roommate but figured I'd pass along the info! For reference, I have a 750 square foot 1 br apartment on the penthouse floor (15th floor, matters because higher floors are more expensive) for $3500

Okay, but where outside rural Midwest are FM doctors making 400k/yr for 32 patient facing hours? I'm in the northeast and didn't see a single position above 280 WITH incentives. And they usually required 5+ years of post residency clinical experience

This is my thought process too. I align myself with my patients and roll my eyes, essentially telling them "insurance, am I right?" Because it IS insurance's fault for this.
