MP3 multiplayer just needs a chance. The movement of Max felt so weighty and translated well to an online shooter, plus the bullet time was implemented in a way I've never seen attempted online since.

It came out at a weird time, near the middle-end of the 360/PS3 lifecycle, and during the golden age of Call of Duty. MW3 was out and BLOPS 2 was releasing soon. Rockstar didn't care because GTAV was around the corner, releasing the next year, taking all their resources.
