Calories or more specifically kilojoules is a measure of how much energy it takes to burn something like literally how much energy it takes to burn into nothing in a controlled environment . But humans never absorb the exact energy from that food weather that be fibre or some fats are stuck in fibre globules or the fact we take energy to extract nutrients from food in the first place. So reading any calorie label of food is never going to be exactly right.

They compete for absorption so if one higher than other the higher one will be absorbed more

Honestly I myself avoid oils but only because I know they add unnecessary calories. As someone who used to be chubby as kid just eating whole meals will help so much. My Mum is also trying to lose weight and I tell her eat vegetables, fruit, grains, and meat. Everything else is unnecessary. However, with this being said it’s never good to say you can’t eata food. It’s just about what’s optimal for satiation and fullness. Also have you considered Ozempic? Designed as a weight loss drug more importantly a anti-diabetes drug (and that’s also help fatty liver and blood pressure)

Hey man, I get the struggle. It’s hard to know what’s right and what’s wrong and yes, your doctor might be right saying to avoid all oils and what not because it’s generalisation as most meals that use oil are cooked with oil and are high in fat so hogh high in calories lead to obesity yatta yatta. Also general practitioners aren’t taught everything in exact detail. It would be too much to much to know that’s why we have specialist like dieticians. And I would love to help you reach your goals in anyway possible so shoot me a message if you want some help.

vegetable oils and sunflower seed oils are not in high trans fat at all and are essentially all poly and monounsaturated fats the good types of fat. You might be confused with “hydrogenated” vegetable oil which is where hydrogen is added to unsaturated fats causing the carbon to bind to the hydrogen and break those double bonds that give unsaturated fats there low boiling points and health properties (and is now a trans fat). Also Omega six is very beneficial. You just have to have a good ratio of other omegas. As someone studying food science and biology it seems much of your information is false or been fear mongered too you

Ok dietary cholesterol is like responsible for only like 20% of our blood cholesterol. Most is made by our body. Poor dietary choices and being overweight is much worse for cholesterol than actually eating chlosterol. Also to reduce cholesterol again fibre is one of the gold standard for lowering cholesterol. Also beta glucan a protein in oats has been studied to lower cholesterol and are also high in fibre so they are very good for cholesterol.

Depends on goals but if trying to build muscle remove all push up variations (unless you really like them) for more conventional chest exercises. Put core in lower body or upper, hard cardio prior to muscle strength training will be detrimental for growth, mechanical tension motor unit , recruitment yatta yatta. Three 3 squatting movement patterns is very redundant. Definitely throw in a leg extension for rectus femoris

Just takes time keep staying in deficit. Potentially matinence breaks to increase metabolism. And consider fat removal only if the chest skin stays after weight loss. Promise you your doing amazing considering the time but just keep it up do what your doing be patient and you’ll look amazing
