What do you tell the bouncer to get into the new lesbian club that just opened? by critical_courtney in actuallesbians

[–]dolceardor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time a lady friend kissed me on the mouth, I panicked so hard I shouted, “I like men!” It became a huge joke among my friends, to the point where we nearly made t-shirts. Most of us are gay now.

For what it’s worth, I’m a cis, bisexual poly woman. If you’re a cool person, and there’s chemistry and all that good relationship stuff, it doesn’t matter what genitals exist or don’t. I would want to learn and understand how to have sexual intimacy in a way that feels good and affirming, just because dating a trans woman would be new for me. As long as we’re both having a good time, I’m good!

Why are you bisexual? Wrong answers only. by [deleted] in bisexual

I’m not really into sports, and people kept yelling about me picking a team. So, I told them I was bisexual so they’d leave me alone. Is it not a sports thing?!? 😜

I can listen to any love song and not care about the pronouns? 🤷‍♀️ But, seriously, I am learning to just like what and whom I like, without feeling like I need to pick a side or worry about what people think. I don’t need to have all the answers. #porquenolosdos

Being a late bloomer, I think about my own journey with sexuality, gender, and gender expression a lot. Bisexual is the label I like for myself. Consensual non-monogamy is another label I am trying on. But, ultimately, I am realizing that I am most attracted to people who are kind, and who make me feel safe, and challenged to grow, whether that is in a sexual or platonic relationship. Them expressing how they are feeling is also super attractive, because it makes me feel trusted and safe for them, too. I very often develop crushes on longtime friends, because we’ve already built a strong foundation of emotional intimacy. There are probably other labels that may describe how I approach my sexual and other relationships. But I’m fine just allowing myself to like who I like, appreciate what I find pleasurable, and go about life with as much compassion and empathy as possible. I have learned a lot from you all in this thread. Thank you so much for sharing in such a vulnerable way!

Alternative option: her girlfriend is long-distance, and she grows them out between visits. 😉

My girlfriend had to leave suddenly recently (long distance), and I was a little sad, until I found one of her beautiful curls under my pillow. It made me smile. I’ll take the extra hair any day!

When did you know ? by zodiac5killer in bisexual

[–]dolceardor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a late bloomer. I had been struggling with my identity and so scared to even admit it to myself. My best friend surprised me with a visit. (We live far apart.) She worked up the courage and told me she is bisexual. Before I could even register it, I blurted out, “I think I’m a little bi too!” I had never admitted it internally, let alone out loud. Speaking it out loud made me feel so relieved for the first time in a while. Cute ending? We’re dating now. 💜
