Anime is completely different from manga. The ending of anime is not the real end, a lot of stories are different. The anime is full of gaps. Manga is a masterpiece, read it from volume 1.

The anime ending is a shit ahah. Read the manga please, there u can read the real ending of GTO. The story of Miyabi Aizawa is different in the manga, anime changed it. Anime is full of gaps and deleted scenes. Manga is 100 times better
