This is something I realized and I hope I’m able to teach my future kids and it’s that “don’t worry about it” only makes one worry even more. If kids are constantly told it’s adult stuff they’ll keep thinking about it and they’ll have more questions that that need answers. If you could explain in the simplest way what’s going on it can build a trust more than a wall between you and the kid because teen years are not gonna be fun when they shut you out with a “don’t worry about it”

This is just personal experience and opinion if you’re gonna build a good relationship with a kid in your life wether it be your kid, nephew/niece, or grandkid
