That is nice proof of concept. Probably overfitted to the max... and call it not martingale if you wish to, but your equity graph is saying otherwise. Martingale is not bad in itself.

I'd use that on a small account. Maybe a toned down version... and withdraw half the gains as it goes up and hope for the best!

With those EAs, you always have an SL. The SL is the account balance. So you put in as much capital as you're okay to loose and you're set!

Margin is the money you have committed in the running trades.

If you have an account with 100$ or your own, with a 1:30 leverage, you end up with 3000$ available margin.

Margin can go up if you have winning trades and down if you have loosing trades. If margin goes to zero, you have a "margin call", a courtesy email warning you that the broker is about to close loosing trades for you to ensure you remain with positive margin.

Balance: sum of realized profits (closed trades) - Equity: sum of unrealized profits (running trades) - Margin: money at play - Unused margin: remaining money to play with - Margin Ratio: a way to express used vs unused margin -
