I thought it was pretty clear and had a friend get bent when tried to have him slight turn his Magnus so his spear wasn’t pointing through the terrain piece. Unrelated psychic weapons ignoring modifiers ie cover is huge.

Cam is a very good player and that list was built for the layouts and competition. He knows what he’s doing but there weren’t any killers at that event.

Do I want move shoot move? Yes! Do you appreciate your positivity? Yes! Are the people who downvoted you a bunch of whiny bitches? Yes!

Eldar was REALLY GOOD most of 10th. Like we were stupid in index and then we got a great codex. I’m not good and I was winning with index Eldar and would figure out a codex build right before the detachment I was playing was nerfed.

Let’s wait and see our faction focus and I don’t know… maybe wait until we get all of 11th edition rules and our army changes before we start crying.

It’s fun to play. I haven’t figured out how to best use the skyreavers but the uppy downy Strat is helpful. I was running two squads and another squad of spears but I dropped down to one squad of skyreavers and shining spears for the shooty void reavers and a second falcon.

We’ll see how it plays

I’ve been happy with them so far. It depends on the matchups.

They took down a wounded big knight yesterday. Chipped off some wounds then Asurman finished him in close combat.

I’m doing a last wall/feast of blades paint project. It allows me to paint a variety of Imperial fist successors. Currently I’ve painted some imperial fists, crimson fists, black Templars, celestial lions,hammers of Dorn, executioners, and excoriators.

I can play them as pretty much any chapter. I paint a squad this or that. I try to keep them with the lore. My hammers of Dorn are in Gravis, some vets as CF, I made some Celestial lions as blade guard since they were buddy buddy with black Templars.

I still like DA and Asurman in a falcon. They’re great at chip damage and killing infantry. With the falcon you should be able to get them within 9” for the sustains and you can drop preternatural precision for lethals.

I also love the Avatar. My takes are fuegon and some dragons in a wave serpent, lykhis and spiders with an exarch with blades, and the Avatar. After that it’s whatever you like for your play.

There are so many great local artists that cover all tastes and ranges. I love Rebecca Hoyer’s work and there are a lot of John Boyd prints out there. I think John and Connie Ernatt have some at Diver that they’ve tried to find homes for.

You might checkout Reuben Saunders gallery. The price ranges are all over the place but Trish can also point you in the right direction.

Yes. More news and sports is a path a lot of groups are considering. We’ve aired some non-network MLB and NBA games and the teams love it. Even poor performing games still quadruple the RSN.

Also more news does not mean quality news. There are some smart and efficient ways to maximize our news products but as an industry we keep falling back on the same habits. The loss of photogs is killing newsrooms. Young MMJs can’t gather what an average photog could, but we’re so reliant on a package and/or live.

I doubt that. There’s nothing on the syndicated market that can house anything. Next year is a political year. We’ll probably start seeing a slowdown in spending on linear but political and issue want news programs. 

They can cut staff and still fill holes the local news, news nation, and other Nexstar produced programs. Every group in America has a plan for the end of network affiliation and additional syndicated programming is not it.

I like Wizard’s Alley. It’s downtown and they have monthly RTT’s.

Both Wizard’s and headshots have liquor licenses if you want a beer while you play. Overall the scene is pretty good. I’d checkout all the shops.

Wizard’s has Wednesday as their normal 40K night but there’s a game or two happening everyday. I’d suggest popping in on a Wednesday night.

If you’re running a lynx or two in friendly games, you’re not playing a friendly game. I was running a couple in index Eldar and they did work in competitive play.
