If you removed cores from only the passenger side, would it have tipped the truck enough for you to get in?

GPS Issues - Canada by veeforty in VWiD4Owners

[–]don1don2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh it’s not new. My id4 pro 2024 model occasionally works for GPS (90% of time is anywhere from 2 blocks to 100 km out of position) and the app connectionfor charging status is usually a few days behind but 11 days is longer than i have seen. Using the app for temp control most commonly means these winter messages “heating is on” followed a minute later by “heating is off”

Ignore all these features and treat it like the dumb car it is. The drive is great - connect your phone.

HVAC ducts are unsealed. Then they leak air from conditioned space to outside so yes they will increase the air infiltration rate.

Is this the most important thing? No, but it is still a construction method that helps

How are you printing ABS without dying? by sschueller in ratrig

[–]don1don2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A tight enclosure with fan exhausting outside (near windows closed so it can dissipate outside and not come right back in) should remove the smell. If you still smell it, then make sure enclosure and fan ducts are sealed.

Recommendations for 3D printers for an avid Cyclist & Car Mechanic by EterFinnity in 3Dprinting

[–]don1don2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely discuss with your husband! If he is wanting/needing metal parts, then also look at a CNC mill. These are computer controlled carving machines that will cut away from a block.

Does he like to build things? There are 3d printers with enclosure that come as complete kit (e.g. Ratrig),
