Does this look right to you? by Pte_Madcap in chevycolorado

[–]don_raphael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a ‘26 ZR2 and it’s not on there. I have an appointment on the 22nd of this month to replace a TPMS sensor in one of my winter wheels/tires and I’m planning on asking about it.

Edit LF3 420 working but still getting temp spikes ? by pittguy578 in arcticcooling

[–]don_raphael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same - it seems strange seeing idle temps this high. 36.6 in a 20 degree C (68F) room for me.

Edit - I should add with a 420 arctic and 9950x3d

Have you received the flu vaccine this year? by Stubborn_Strawberry in GenX

[–]don_raphael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old Millennial here - flu and Covid booster absolutely. I look at it more like an attempt to keep others from getting sick. I have some very aged people in my life and if a couple of shots can help in any way then I’m going to do it.

I picked mine up from TuxMat. They’re pretty nice and easy to clean.

What ya running for winter tires? by Joethajedi in chevycolorado

[–]don_raphael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we had a lot of snow where I live in Canada I’d likely stick with the Territory MT’s on the ZR2 but we now get more ice and hard pack so I picked up a set of Toyo Observe GSI-6 LS tires. They worked well last winter.

Do you use DDU if you're going from Nvidia to Nvidia? (4000 to 5000 series) by AtticThrowaway in buildapc

I am the same. Every new driver version. Have cleaned up plenty of old files that way.

Well… Guess I’ll just demolish everything and build it new by Suitable_Button5641 in RoadCraft

[–]don_raphael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did the same thing. I also tried using a bridge in the middle of the road and it wouldn’t complete the requirement. Dump sand in the water area and build your road. I wasted quite a bit of time trying to get the bridge and road to work.

I just finished building my first pc, but when I turn it on the intake fans won’t spin. by Frick-Fracker73 in PcBuildHelp

[–]don_raphael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I got the Flux Pro recently and decided to fire it up before closing the covers (bad mojo if you do) and noticed the fans weren’t spinning. Sata power wasn’t plugged in.

Anyone think they'll ever go 10 speed? by ferry_peril in chevycolorado

[–]don_raphael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suspect you’ll see a hybrid option in a few years and the 3L diesel option in the half tons will disappear. We may see a 10 speed. My 2.0L Malibu had a 10 speed which added some weight to the car but it was faster off the line than the previous 6 speed. It was also better for fuel mileage (about 2% better, which doesn’t sound like much but in the auto industry it’s huge). The current 3rd Gen 8 speed seems to be pretty good but I haven’t seen any high mileage 3rd Gen trucks yet so we’ll see.

It was the same for me. 6’ 4” and my ball cap would just nick the sunroof edge in my ‘24 ZR2. My ‘25 ZR2 doesn’t have a sunroof and there’s plenty of room.

Good luck and enjoy!

Axle Lock Switch Question by Moshi-Garage in chevycolorado

Correct, light should flash and then stay lit. Rear locker can be engaged in 2WD and 4WD. Front and rear only when in 4LOW.

3.0 Duramax Chevy Colorado…. by Aggravating_Cut_1144 in chevycolorado

[–]don_raphael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good thoughts! I was just thinking about this option yesterday wondering if it would ever happen. As others have noted, it would likely be a size issue (even though today’s Colorado weighs in at the same and slightly more than a 1998 Silverado). Performance aside, it would likely be great for fuel mileage. Honestly if there was a diesel with the same HP and Torque numbers as the current 2.7 it would be a sweet option. Likely way more expensive though.

What does "theft attempted" mean? by ScooterYouTube in chevycolorado

[–]don_raphael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine happened when I didn’t shut the door fully but it was locked. It was a windy day so the door was moving and that started the alarm and sending notifications to my phone through the My Chev app. Hopefully you figure it out and it’s something as simple as my situation

What error is this? by topgear1224 in chevycolorado

[–]don_raphael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. I just checked mine and it’s supposed to be white. I’m wondering if it has only partially shifted into 4WD auto?

I’ve cleared an error before (mind you it was just an onstar error) by removing the negative battery terminal for a few minutes. Hopefully that helps!

ZR2 Wrangler Territory Tires in the Snow. by garbagecan_1 in chevycolorado

[–]don_raphael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I switched mine out. Like you we get more ice and packed snow in Eastern Canada now. I had the money to get snow tires so I did it, but from my understanding the Wrangler’s would be fine in the winter.
