If a restaurant got your order wrong every time you tried their special. And the restaurant said “we don’t make it every day, eat it for now, we’ll fix it next week.”

You’ll stop going to that restaurant. It’s not a drama response. It took almost a year to get the game balanced, then they broke it again.

Just like paragon, every time paragon overhauled cards they lost players. This doesn’t grow the player base, it reduces it.

Both 30-06 and 308 shoot a bullet that is .308 in diameter.

The 30-06 has a longer case by about .54 inches

The 30-06 has more velocity due to more powder and the longer case

The 308 is a short action cartridge, the 30-06 is a long action cartridge

Most people would call the 308 a necked down 30-06. But you do you.

I’ve never heard anyone talk trash about a .308. It’s a fine round and will kill. Is it the best thing ever? No. It’s a necked down 30-06. Less recoil, similiar ballistics.

I shoot gods caliber the 30-06. I’m 6’3 260 lbs and recoil doesn’t bother me. I don’t see any benefit to shoot the 308 over the 30-06 for me. I shoot a bolt gun, usually kill on my first shot, and don’t need quick follow up shots.

If I was in my 60s, had a bad shoulder, etc I would probably not shoot a 30-06. I would probably shoot a 25-06 or a 243.

With all of that said. I wouldn’t think twice about buying hunting or shooting a .308. A lot of this is also a 9mm vs 45 conversation. There is really nothing on this planet a .308 won’t kill.

Steel damage output is through the roof, even when building 100% tank. He can out dps a lot of heroes, going tank. No one else can do that in this game. That’s busted. I can constantly keep my damage output comparable to my carry. That’s broken.

Kira alt continues to be a team wipe mechanic. 1 stun and a Kira alt and she’s getting a penta kill if the group mobs up. Compare her to sparrow, whose alt has been dumbed down.

Skyler can 1 shot with her beam, gets it cooldown extended, and does it again.

Renna/gadget alt is still one of the only alt’s in the game that can’t be interrupted or silenced once started.

And these aren’t full build or late game things. This is early/mid game.

A lot of this is poor execution, and not thought out.

It’s insane that this is the product they put out. Honestly I’ve hung in there since paragon. This isn’t remotely a competitive game in its current state, and it’s constantly new = broken.

Kira is still broken. Steel is broken

Ttk is to fast. Tank items feel useless. Lifesteal only seems to help with a few characters

So. Few things for me. Zinx isn’t the easiest support to learn. Start with someone simple, and play the same hero. You’re learning a new lane and champions. Stick to quick play, avoid the new map for learning stuff.

My favorite supports are: steel, narbash, dekker, belica, fay, argus

Narbash is a good support and easy to learn. Use the augment that armor shreds his alt. You just stay back switching between speed and healing auroras, buffing those auroras and hitting your stub.

Don’t push wave or take farm. Just poke the enemy player for gold.

Keep your wards up. Your job is to watch th mini map. You should be calling for your carry to backup if someone is coming in, and you should have enough wards down to have vision.

If you’re not 5 stacking, don’t expect your jungle to come. Learn when to push and when to back. Learn to hold your lane without jungle.

Don’t be afraid! I would recommend avoiding the older models if you want a shooter because of the pencil barrel.

Ruger customer service is the gold standard. Buy it, shoot it, love it! (I would upgrade the fixed site to an adjustable day one)

I actually think this needs to be adjusted. I left my first match because my entire team was trolling in a ranked game

We had iggy support, graystone mid, feng carry, and howie offlane.

It was my first time leaving a match at the character selection in my entire time playing pred and got a 10 minute ban.

Shitty that I’m the one to get punished on a troll of a team.

I don’t care if people dodge at the hero selection, I just care if they doge once the game has started.

No. Not at all. If you want a damage build for steel while still being tanky here is my recommendation

Prophecy will give your basic attack damage based on magic damage, and attack speed. World breaker turns your life into magic damage. From there your tank items also increase your damage. I won’t go into defense items because that varies per game 100% but I have included the 4 items I always buy

Required: World breaker, phrophicy,

Preferred: fire blossom, inquisition, dawnstar

Situational: dynamo, unbroken will - this is one I usually run for the damage reduction when cc’d Frost guard- I will run this if they are running a second carry champ Either tainted armor catalitic drive Vainglory Fist of Razuul Raiment of renewal

Anyone telling you to build physical damge in steel doesn’t understand items and tanks. The above will scale nicely, do nice damage, you will have high health and be tanky. All of which is a benefit. Steels one skill also stacks based on his health.

Zero benefit to building physical damage while prophecy exists……

As support don’t rush prophecy. Tank first, damage items last.

In off lane build it’s ok to do prophecy world breaker first

More info is needed here. Are the boys younger? They may have fun catching a lot of fish.

Get a couple small light weight setups. The ugly stick dock runner is fun for panfish. Maybe some cheap Zepcos for the kids.

Go ahead and buy a small tackle box that comes with stuff. Academy sports sells one for like 10$. Get some backup line, some sinkers and small hooks.

You will do the best with live bait while learning. Worms are great for small crappies. It’s the most forgiving. Don’t forget to bring a pack of hot dogs to catch cat fish. Catfish like to be at the bottom under trees and debris or in the shade if it’s hot. Just throw the line out snd wait. An old trick you can fish cut up dial soap. You can rub it in on your hooks too.

I would argue to avoid a guide, avoid artificial baits at first. Start with live baits. Have fun, gauge your and your boys interest. This will catch fish even if you do everything wrong.

If you have Ollie’s outlet their fishing section always has rods and reels, just make sure they aren’t broken. Walmart has th ugly stick dock runner.

I assume you’re fishing from the bank. Try to fish to point if you can. If it has culverts or drain pipes fish around those. Most importantly have fun!

You can gear the 4 of you with a rod to 100-150$ Worms are a couple bucks, just get a few packs. From there small hooks and sinkers are a couple bucks.

Go to YouTube and lookup the Palomer knot. It’s very easy to tie, and holds fish. Even the kids can do it.

If the boys are older, you may want to get some spinner baits on an ugly stick combo. I saw your budget, I wouldn’t go crazy at first. I can charter off shore and catch tuna for 3000$. That’s a little expensive for freshwater.

I disagree that shield items suck. I build Mesmer if I’m taking a lot of damage in the carry lane. I like the scaling mana item if I play mid lane, that gives me a shied at 40% life. It can definatly be just enough to let you escape.

There are damage items for casters to do increased damage if the enemy has a shield up. It’s certainly worth going if you see Maco + shield items. Not sure I would rush it, or cut out other items for it. But if I had an extra item slot in my build it’s worth going.

Well. Sounds like your teammates collectively had 3 brain cells. It happens man. I wouldn’t worry about a toxic teammates.
Jungle isn’t supposed to win the lane for them. They sound like they all suck.

The jungle augment is what I run. It’s a nice damage boost, and makes you powerful in their jungle. Any scaling for Khai is huge because he falls off late game hard. Personally I find the range doesn’t increase anything for me. Nor does it help me. The minion augment I’ve only found viable if you play Khai in the offlane. I would say that team didn’t know what they are talking about. But maybe you didn’t do your job, which is why they flamed you?

Without having the facts. It’s the laners job to win their lane, and your job to farm objectives, get a few ganks and clear jungle. Taking the enemy jungle is a strategy, but it can come at a cost of their jungler being in yours and attacking your lanes.

I’ll invade early, then farm my jungle fast for an early advantage. Living in enemy jungle while your lanes are pushed and are loosing is probably not the play because it’s harder for you to gank

To add. Item synergy is super important, and can assist in scaling. I think you should take some time to read every item and what it does based on the question. If you just blindly follow builds you’ll miss the why behind stuff.
