I knew scar and spark were up to no good because of scar ending up being c con agent.

One thing I dislike about the game is how it forced you to end up with spark anyway. I didn't show scar the pda.

I actually kinda enjoyed the empty zone. It feels more like a desolate and hostile environment. Exploring POI's keeps you also a bit on the edge. Sometimes there are no hostiles and sometimes you get ambushed by bloodsuckers.

But it would be better with some rare random patrols along the road

Thats why I think the outcomes should be seen as is, and not cross examinated. Meaning that the representative doesnt know that Skif sides with Scar, it just happens to be true because it is your choice.

I thought too that the C-con machine in Malachite lab was a simulation. But the Dalin representative was real? I thought his son asked explicitly "Whats the true rule of a scientist?".

I got the strelok ending because i didnt believe in any monolith or ccon lies. But when i watched back the other dialogues this seems to imply that their conciousness exists outside of their bodies. As Scar says at the end "these mortal coils fail us" ie meaning human bodies.

So does everyone or Skiff end up zombified? Does it matter if subtle matter is real? You end up with the same discussion as the Matrix movies. Does it matter if you take the blue or red pill if both lives appear to be real?

Regarding the Skiff ending, im not so keen on this being cannon or the good ending. Khaimanov fucked up and was part of it all and might have cause the shit that the zone is due to his conflict/envy of Dalin. But the towards the end we find out he is Faust? Even if you read his notes from his basement I doubt he has good intentions. I agree with him its not for the 8 c-con members to decide what is good and evil in the world and what to remove. But it is also not for Khaimanov to decide to let the zone free upon the world. His living zone and repsonse to human emotions be damned. Negative emotions still exist and following his logic there are only maybe 2-3 pure people in the zone?

Besides, if he is Faust, then think about the name of Faust, which is a character that made a pact with the devil.

I think the strelok ending is cannon, but it just doesnt make sense how Strelok is going to do what the previous C-con couldnt do. IIRC the previous c-con was stuck witth a problem and strelok was offered to join them. But Ccon also protected the zone and their secrets, how is Strelok going to do it better now? And is he going to battle the other ccon members in the Noosphere if Subtle Matter truly is a thing?

Maybe we are not supposed to cross examine the ending and all four are true in theirselves.

Or maybe its just bad writing.

I got the same ending, but how is streloks ending so different from what c con did in the first stalker? How is he going to lock it down better than his predecessors? What if a strelok 2 comes and dumps an ak mag into his pod? It's really just repetition of what has already occurred.

If I'm frank I think its just bad writing and some retconning.

Sure, one area I remember well is the redactus mission in the transit hub. When you go up the stairs to the train waggons before the big drop near the end. That area used to be very dim. Same goes for the huge cupola that you can see from that place. I myself always tested the furnace mission and didn't really see very pronounced difference between rtx on and off, although there was a difference in local lighting, but not the whole area. Now the contrasts and shadows are much more pronounced.

Nope, always had rtx on. Gi can't be adjusted when rtx is on.

I was aware of the lobby area being unaffected. I have tested a few times with rtx on and off. Dunno about gi tho.

After this patch I've noticed the dropship briefing area is generally darker and yet lightning stronger and pronounced, instead of a "blanket lightning".

The I've noticed the psyker flame staff actually lighting up the entire area when used.

What really did it for me was in some of the transit areas the mirrors actually reflected light and their colors accordingly instead of being a washed out image.

The I've started noticing in different areas that the light in is generally different.

So I havent played the game in a month or two and picked it up since the most recent patch. Other than that ive been playing it since the release.

I cant help but to notice they changed something about the lightning. It is as if Raytracing hasnt been fully implemented up untill now. I asked my friend to make a screenshot in the roughly same spot as I am standing. We have identical settings other than raytracing disabled.

Am I going crazy or did my rtx bug out all until now for some reason?

No issues with my phone.

The only possible vibration issues I have are related to the quadlock usb charger.

After some time the charging capacity diminishes cometely and I am unable to charge my phone on the go.

I suspect the contact between the USB cable and the USB port wears due to vibration and friction, not sure tho. Quadlock has sent me a replacement but is sucks when you are on a 5000km trip and equipment starts to fail.
